I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #861 - The Cow Conundrum Continues - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Thursday, December 5, 2024

I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

In my post yesterday I talked about the fact that Jo is going back to the mainland for the holidays, and that because she is the only other individual aside from myself that knows how to milk our cow Daisy at GaiaYoga presently, that it's looking like I'll be milking alone after Jo leaves on the 11th, and until her return at the beginning of the year. I still feel quite a lot of stress around this situation, because it's just way easier with two people, and it takes a lot less time too.

Daisy really doesn't like it when the milking process takes a long time (over half an hour), and unfortunately with just me milking, it will take about an hour. So to keep her as happy as I can for the whole hour, I'm going to have to collect double the amount of cow food each day, as well as to collect extra fruit for her cow-snacks bucket, to help keep her mellow toward the end of milking. That's a lot of work. Milking the cow is definitely taking quite a lot of more of my time than I anticipated.

With so much focus that will to be going to the cow-milking process while Jo is away, I told Ano that I'm not open to taking on any more projects or tasks until Jo returns. I have to get in touch with Kevin (who met his wife Omya at GaiaYoga, where they both lived for a time) to see if he's willing to milk for at least the days that I'm planning to assist with Melekai's women's retreat, and perhaps even to alternate milking days with me until January. He's really the only way that I'd be able to be a part of Melekai's retreat.

I'm not really cool with having the responsibility of being the de facto main coordinator of making sure that the cow gets milked every day dropped in my lap, partly because it takes so much time. Time that I would far prefer to allocate to getting my nursery and the fenced garden back in good shape, and to plant and garden work in general.

I don't know how all this is going to play out after Jo leaves, but I'll just keep doing my best, regardless of the circumstances. We do drastically need redundancy in our systems here, both in people who are willing and able to do various tasks, and in terms of important parts of the infrastructure. Living on a large off-grid property with presently too few people to manage it all, is really not easy, I will say that. Even with all the chaos, however, I'd still choose it over living in the slave matrix.

Yesterday, Thursday, after I finished up with my Hive tasks, I gave a session to Emily, from 1PM to 5PM. Even though she contacted me about a session just the night before, I was thankfully able to accommodate her. She left relaxed, happy, and grateful, as is always my intention. After Emily left, I did a quick round of token management, then I went to the Landing to collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee, and return to the Flow House to get into my evening round of Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done by around 10:30PM, and after some token management, I went to bed just a little after 11PM. I slept well (for the 6th day in a row!), thankfully, waking up just before 7:45AM, doing another round of token management, then getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee, and to milk the cow with Jo. As soon as milking was done, I returned to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 1:15PM, so a very good time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House later in the afternoon, to first take more photos for these posts, and for my entry in the Reflection Hunters Contest, strain and blend kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao), and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until my entry in the Reflection Hunters Contest (hopefully) later today, and the next expression of this post tomorrow! 2024 Life Goals

1.) Heal my broken heart, reignite my heart sun, and embody a solid, healthy masculine, allowing my electric fire to shine bright, no matter what others, especially women, say or do. 

2.) Bring myself and my life back into balance, integration, and wholeness. 

3.) Do regular (naked) integral practices again, alone or with others. 

4.) Dance regularly again.

5.) Work with natural entheogens (mushrooms, ganja, ayahuasca), with punctuated regularity, as a part of my healing process again. 

 6.) Get, and keep, regular deep, integral energy-body-tantric work healing sessions for women flowing again.

7.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again. 

8.) Make my plant nursery beautiful again.

9.) Live as an integral part of a juicy heart-resonant soul tribe community, with deep, coherent mutual and shared passion, purpose, mission, love, warmth, care, sweetness, reverence, respect, aliveness, admiration, excitement, enjoyment, playfulness, work, fun, laughter, attraction, and all-level connections and relationships. 

10.) Make love with the woman, or the women, that I love, every day, as a sacred devotional practice. 

11.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
