I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 8 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Even though the early part of the day yesterday had some lovely sunshine, clouds and rain quickly moved in as the day progressed. I was hearing thunder in the distance on and off all day, and I was really hoping that it didn't come our way. Well, that's not exactly how it went. Moving into the evening, the rains continued to intensify, and with lightning coming with it.

Around 7PM a bolt of lightning struck very close to Fuschia Phoenix, which lit up the sky, and simultaneously took our internet network down, by frying a bunch of ethernet switches. The ethernet switch in the Flow House actually sparked when it died. Very thankfully my laptop and all my other technology was not damaged. The switch in the Puppy House, an important juncture point for our internet network, was also fried, which killed internet access for the entire property. Between the intense rains, the lightning, and the fact that I didn't have many working backup switches, I didn't attempt to fix anything last night at all.

I was woken up a little after 1AM by extremely intense rain, with water droplets reaching pretty much everywhere inside the Flow House. With that being the case, I packed all of my technology away in a bin, before doing my best to get back to sleep, on the drier side of the bed, a bit after 3AM. When I woke up a little after 9AM, the storm had mostly past, so I replaced the dead switch in the Puppy House, and I set my laptop and my other technology back up.

After getting my laptop booted up, and my Qortal node back online, I went to prepare my superfood fire coffee in Wabisabi, and to talk for a while about our internet situation with Avi, Michael, and Ano, before heading back to the Flow House to get a few things done online, before collecting the few working switches that I had left, to go see about getting the rest of the network back online. Thankfully I was able to get two lines back online successfully, though the lack of more backup switches stopped my progress until more could be bought in Hilo later today. I also made sure that we ordered another good number of them from Amazon, to have more backups for exactly this sort of situation.

So last night and today have not at all been easy or fun, in part because I haven't slept well in three days, so I'm quite exhausted, but no rest for the weary it would seem. I'm finally sitting down back up at the Flow House to write this post, which will likely be published close to 3PM. Hopefully I'll be able to get the rest of our network back online before dark, once the new switches arrive later in the afternoon. Living here can be very, very, very challenging at times indeed, and and this is definitely one of those times.

Yesterday, Thursday, I left the Flow House, after finishing my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, by around 3PM again, first taking on the challenge of taking some good photos for my posts, despite the very poor photographic conditions. Once I had that done, I chopped and dumped bad/used coconuts at the upper coco bar, and I got my machete and I went on a banana hunt around the property, in search of harvestable banana racks, of which I found two. With that finally completed, I took a shower, made Avi (who pays me to do so) and myself some food, collected my leftover superfood fire coffee from the small temporary fridge, and with those in hands, I headed back to the Flow House, to begin my evening Hive tasks, and to work with Hermes a bit more, which sadly was ended as soon as the lightning strike took out our internet connection. Because of that, I ended up going through all of my notifications on my phone instead. I got through them all by a bit after 10PM, and after scanning my X feed for a while, I went to bed by about 11:30PM. As mentioned above, if it were not for the intense rain, and so much getting wet inside the Flow House, I would have slept a whole lot better than I did (I feel a bit like a zombie). In any case, it's just before 2:45PM now, so I'd say that it's time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, and then on getting the rest of the network back online. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's edition of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.

All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

There will be more ALIVE pools coming soon!

This is our collaboratively shared Witness node between the We Are Alive Tribe, and @borniet's and my MMB (Maximum Mutual Benefit) Project, here to build something good for all of us! The higher in the witness ranking we go, the more that we'll be able to grow the We Are Alive Tribe, and the more that we'll be able to share with all of you!

If you appreciate what we're doing with the We Are Alive Tribe, and feel inspired and motivated to lend a hand in building and growing our decentralized community economy and financial framework, which benefits all of us, community conntributions/donations/investments may be sent to our 'We Are Alive Tribe Sovereign Wealth Investment Fund' account, @waat-swif. They're deeply appreciated, and are put to very good use.

Bjorn is our badass coder who hosts and manages our (and also Bradley's) community backends, he creates all sorts of useful tools, and he assists people all over the Blockchain constantly. He redefines the term 'busy'!

Bradley's tenaciously committed and all-in on Hive for the long haul (just like me!), and the higher his witness goes in the ranking, the higher the weekly BBH and BBHO dividend payouts will be!

I hope you get caught up with your sleep. After reading what you went through in the last 24 hours I started to feel lazy.
Keep your head up and your stick on the ice. Well, probably not much ice your way. !LOLZ

Thanks a lot, my friend, I appreciate it, though sadly not yet. As soon as I get everything done on Hive tonight, I'm headed straight for bed. I'm doing my best indeed, but the last few days have been a little rough and bumpy. Hehe...indeedy, we only have ice here on the highest volcanoes, and mostly in winter. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
