I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 8 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
I was just a few seconds too late in publishing my daily post yesterday, and from one moment to the next, my several-year streak of publishing 1-3 Hive posts every day, was broken. While it was the same day for me, it wasn't for Hive. And the kicker is the I had the post already written and staged, to do my final editing round, right before publishing it. I got distracted with a task on Omarchy with Hermes that took me longer than expected, and by the time I looked at the time, it was already 1:59PM (2PM is when UTC time switches from one day to the next), and even though I did my best to get it published in time, alas, that was not to be.

I've been publishing 1-3 posts every single day on Hive since February 20, 2022, and even though I did publish a post yesterday, since I missed the UTC cutoff by even mere seconds, it wasn't counted for yesterday, but rather for today. When the full gravity of what happened hit me, I found myself in utter shock, and feeling massively defeated, because there was nothing that I could do to rectify it.

I should have done the final edit on my post, and then published it, before diving into the Omarchy-Hermes task. That's obvious now. I just wish that it were obvious then. I thought that I could get what I needed done on my laptop, before getting back to my post, and with time to spare (as is usually the case), but nope, that's not how it went at all.

Even today, I still can't believe that it actually happened. I know that I may not seem like much to most of you, but I haven't missed the 2PM cutoff for a good bit over 4 years, and now I have. Ouch, just ouch.

With this streak break, especially after such a long run, the motivation to even keep track anymore is now basically gone. Since my long post steak has been broken, I've been considering whether I should keep my publication time to before 2PM, or to move it after 2PM. Given that doing so after 2PM would give me more time and flexibility, since I have the entire day into the next morning, that does seem like the best choice moving forward, so I'll likely write my posts in the morning then schedueo them to be published just after 2PM. Oh well, no point in wallowing in this epic fail. I'll just keep doing what I'm doing, and moving forward the best that I can.

Yesterday, Sunday, I left the Flow House, after the fantastic fail and my more-numerous Sunday Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, by a little after 3PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts, and then to chopping and dumping bad/used coconuts at the upper coco bar. Since it was Sunday, I didn't feel like getting into any large work project, so I went to Wabisabi, to make food for Avi (who's paying me to do so) and myself, before collecting my leftover superfood fire coffee from the small temporary fridge, and then heading back to the Flow House, to begin my evening Hive tasks, and to work with Hermes some more. I got through all of my notifications by just before 10PM, and after another productive work session with Hermes, I went to bed, way too late, by a bit after 12:30PM. I woke up by around 8:30AM, still feeling that I needed more sleep, going to prepare my superfood fire coffee in Wabisabi, then returning to the Flow House, to work a tad more with Hermes, and to write this post. It's now just before 1:15PM, so it's a lovely time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, and then on some jungle-community/land work and tasks. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's expression of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.

All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

There will be more ALIVE pools coming soon!

This is our collaboratively shared Witness node between the We Are Alive Tribe, and @borniet's and my MMB (Maximum Mutual Benefit) Project, here to build something good for all of us! The higher in the witness ranking we go, the more that we'll be able to grow the We Are Alive Tribe, and the more that we'll be able to share with all of you!

If you appreciate what we're doing with the We Are Alive Tribe, and feel inspired and motivated to lend a hand in building and growing our decentralized community economy and financial framework, which benefits all of us, community conntributions/donations/investments may be sent to our 'We Are Alive Tribe Sovereign Wealth Investment Fund' account, @waat-swif. They're deeply appreciated, and are put to very good use.

Bjorn is our badass coder who hosts and manages our (and also Bradley's) community backends, he creates all sorts of useful tools, and he assists people all over the Blockchain constantly. He redefines the term 'busy'!

Bradley's tenaciously committed and all-in on Hive for the long haul (just like me!), and the higher his witness goes in the ranking, the higher the weekly BBH and BBHO dividend payouts will be!

How frustrating that a few seconds have cut a streak that you put so much effort into.
It's understandable that it hurts; to you it represented years of commitment, not just a number.
But that change in the registry does not erase your record or everything you have shared since 2022.
You did write and publish; the clock limit stopped reflecting that effort.
Give yourself space to feel the disappointment, but don't mistake this setback for defeat.
Your work is still there and retains all its value.

Thank you very much for your kind words, my friend, I appreciate it. It hit hard, but I'm just dusting myself off, picking myself back up, and continuing forward, no matter what. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
