I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 8 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
In my post yesterday, I mentioned that while I do very much love Arch/Artix Linux, that I've been feeling very drawn to dive into and explore Omarchy Linux, an extraordinary Arch-based agentic-AI operating system. Well, last night, after discussing the idea with Hermes, I decided to go for it, so I downloaded the Omarchy installer, wrote it to a portable USB drive, and I installed it on one of my Arch installation's cloned SSDs. After it installed successfully, I rebooted, logged into Omarchy for the first time, and I mounted Arch2, the previous Arch installation that I was using, to copy over essential and important data and configuration files.

I was still in the midst of figuring things out, and setting up and getting necessary apps up and running again, when I had to make myself stop by about 1:15AM, to get to bed. I didn't get quite enough sleep sadly, but I did get more than I expected. By morning, Hermes had several other important components working correctly once again, which was a nice surprise.

The default user interface for Omarchy is very different from what I have running on my Arch/Artix installations, and it's definitely taking me a bit to get accustomed to it, and to learn how to use it well. I have a particular way of accomplishing various tasks using certain applications, some of which didn't come with me into this new Omarchy installation, so I'm still in the process of figuring out how to do what I need using new applications. I could install KDE Plasma in Omarchy too, and I may, but for the moment I want to familiarize myself with Omarchy's default, Hyperland combined with Quick Shell, which is very cool in its own right.

I've been using Arch Linux for exactly 9 years and 1 month today, and after almost a decade on that excellent operating system, I felt called to make another major leap, this time to Omarchy. I'll mount each of my 3 Arch/Artix installations in Omarchy, to transfer and merge data and configs, so if all goes well, then soon I'll have only one primary installation, Omarchy (which is still Arch under the hood), with the other SSDs becoming destinations for cloning that one unified operating system. I don't want to lose my Arch/Artix installations, however, so I still have to decide how to keep them backed up and safe, while also using some of the SSDs for Omarchy backups.

Running and regularly cloning one primary OS is much simpler than periodically swapping 3 Arch/Artix installations, each with their own backup-clone SSD, which is how I've been doing it for many years now. I still love and appreciate Arch, but now it's time to use that incredible base to build my agentic-AI operating system in Omarchy, which already has deep AI-agent integration, so it's very fitting indeed.

Yesterday, Sunday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, by around 3:30PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts, and then to assisting Braja with a small task at her place. Since I was so focused on getting ready to install and test Omarchy, I returned to the Flow House for a while to do that, before finally heading to Wabisabi to heat myself up some food, to collect my leftover superfood fire coffee from the small temporary fridge, and with those in hands to return to the Flow House to begin my evening Hive tasks, and to work with Hermes a bit more. I got through all of my notifications by around 9PM, after which I installed and set up Omarchy, transfered hundreds of gigabytes of data, and I got Hermes up and running again, to assist me in the process. As mentioned, I went to sleep way too late, and although I didn't really get sufficient sleep, when I woke up by just before 7AM, I felt better than expected. After working on setting things up Omarchy for a bit, I went to Wabisabi to prepare my superfood fire cofee, then back to the Flow House I came, to do more system setup, and to write this post. It's now just after 1:15PM, so it's quite a good time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, and then on some jungle-community/land work and tasks. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until my BPUD post later this evening or tomorrow morning, and the next episode of these posts tomorrow afternoon! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

There will be more ALIVE pools coming soon!

This is our collaboratively shared Witness node between the We Are Alive Tribe, and @borniet's and my MMB (Maximum Mutual Benefit) Project, here to build something good for all of us! The higher in the witness ranking we go, the more that we'll be able to grow the We Are Alive Tribe, and the more that we'll be able to share with all of you!

If you appreciate what we're doing with the We Are Alive Tribe, and feel inspired and motivated to lend a hand in building and growing our decentralized community economy and financial framework, which benefits all of us, community conntributions/donations/investments may be sent to our 'We Are Alive Tribe Sovereign Wealth Investment Fund' account, @waat-swif. They're deeply appreciated, and are put to very good use.

Bjorn is our badass coder who hosts and manages our (and also Bradley's) community backends, he creates all sorts of useful tools, and he assists people all over the Blockchain constantly. He redefines the term 'busy'!

Bradley's tenaciously committed and all-in on Hive for the long haul (just like me!), and the higher his witness goes in the ranking, the higher the weekly BBH and BBHO dividend payouts will be!
