I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 8 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Talk about AI (or the rebranded SI, Super Intelligence) and AI agents is everywhere as of late, as they spread into every domain of society, though there is still a difference that many people seem to miss. There is a glaring, worlds-apart difference between closed-source, closed-weight, corporate AI and agentic systems, and their open-source, open-weight, freely-available counterparts. The first group puts us in a squarely subservient role, while with the second group, we are in full control, especially when the setup is locally run.

In Hermes Agent, with which I've been working since late spring, I've made effective use of both local-run and cloud-based models, but I've always stuck with the free, open-source, open-weight variants for cloud-based models, like GLM5.3, GLM5.3 Flash, Kimi-K3, DeepSeek V4/V4.1 Flash, and Nemotron 3 Ultra, all of which are quite capable, and I've accomplished some quite amazing things will all of them. The most fascinating and exciting thing about my work with agentic AI is that what I'm able to do with it continues to increase at an exceptionally-rapid rate. I've barely explored a fraction of what's now possible.

Every exceedingly-rapid generation, the models are getting better, faster, more effective, and more efficient, so they are capable of doing far more, with a lot less. Combined with open-source agentic harnesses like Hermes Agent, and even SRE (Software Reverse Engineering) suites like Ghidra (that I mentioned in yesterday's post), it's now very possible and feasible to not only create our own applications, but even the whole software framework in which we operate. That is a monumental shift, and very soon the best open-source, open-weight models will surpass the capability of the current frontier closed-source, closed-weight, corporate cloud-based models. Their business model will definitely need a major adjustment, is all that I have to say about that.

There are several AI agents and agentic-AI frameworks, like OpenClaw (which made AI agents famous), Pi (very minimalist), Mecury (a newer agent), Atomic Agent (another newer one), and of course my preferred AI framework, Hermes Agent. The cool thing is that we don't have to choose, since we could run them all simultaneously, and use them with each other. Hermes hits the spot for me, so I haven't felt much need to test out the others yet, though I'm sure that I'll get to it at some point, and then incorporate what I like about the others into Hermes.

There are presently two Linux distributions of which I'm aware, Omarchy and Herald OS, that are basically agentic-AI operating systems, with Omarchy being the most interesting to me, in part because it's based on my beloved Arch Linux. These agentic operating systems integrate AI agents like Hermes into every layer of the system, so not only can they troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise, but they can even modify and mold the system into whatever is desired. This is some badass, next-level coding wizardry, and it fascinates me to no end, so you can bet that I'll be diving in to explore the full potentials of a completely-personalized OS, that has agentic-AI at its core.

Yesterday, Thursday, I left the Flow House (I had a session arranged, but it had to be rescheduled due to lots of rain), after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, by about 2:45PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts. Once that was completed, I got my machete and I went on a banana hunt around the property, in search of harvestable racks, of which I found two (plus a papaya), taking a 'break' in the middle to go help to unload Kana's new electric riding lawnmower from Ano's truck. With all that finished, I went to turn on the generator (since it was cloudy and rainy all day), and then to Wabisabi to make Avi (who's paying me to do so) and myself some food, to share a short dinner with him, then to collect my leftover superfood fire coffee from the small temporary fridge, and finally to head back to the Flow House to begin my evening Hive tasks, and to work another round with Hermes. I got through all of my notifications by a little after 9:30PM, and after a bit more work with Hermes, I went to bed by 12AM. I woke up just before 6AM, having slept well, going to prepare my superfood fire coffee in Wabisabi, cloning my currently-running Arch Linux installation, working with Hermes some more, and then beginning on this post. It's now just before 1:45PM, so it's a fantabulous time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, and then on some jungle-community/land work and tasks. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's expression of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.

All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

There will be more ALIVE pools coming soon!

This is our collaboratively shared Witness node between the We Are Alive Tribe, and @borniet's and my MMB (Maximum Mutual Benefit) Project, here to build something good for all of us! The higher in the witness ranking we go, the more that we'll be able to grow the We Are Alive Tribe, and the more that we'll be able to share with all of you!

If you appreciate what we're doing with the We Are Alive Tribe, and feel inspired and motivated to lend a hand in building and growing our decentralized community economy and financial framework, which benefits all of us, community conntributions/donations/investments may be sent to our 'We Are Alive Tribe Sovereign Wealth Investment Fund' account, @waat-swif. They're deeply appreciated, and are put to very good use.

Bjorn is our badass coder who hosts and manages our (and also Bradley's) community backends, he creates all sorts of useful tools, and he assists people all over the Blockchain constantly. He redefines the term 'busy'!

Bradley's tenaciously committed and all-in on Hive for the long haul (just like me!), and the higher his witness goes in the ranking, the higher the weekly BBH and BBHO dividend payouts will be!
