I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 8 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Today, Wednesday, September 23, 2026 is my 5-year anniversary, my Hiversary, of creating my account and becoming a part of the Hive Blockchain Ecosystem. I've been here, building, learning, growing, connecting, sharing, assisting, and supporting, for five whole years, 1,825 days in total. That seriously blows my mind! What are some of the most important lessons that I've learned over the past five years? Well, let me see here...

Number one on my list would be staying focused, committed, dedicated, and consistent in terms of my purpose and why I'm here, regardless of anything. I've learned that consistency, in times of both success and failure, always wins in the end, and my account is verifiable proof (it's all written in the Blockchain) of that. I've learned to set goals, and to work every day to make them happen, which I'm still doing to this day. I've learned to become a daily writer, leverager and grower of assets, and how to run a community (our beloved We Are Alive Tribe). I've learned to not focus on the things about Hive that bother or disturb me, but rather to keep my eyes on the target, which has served me very well indeed.

My growth on the Blockchain has been both in terms of assets, and in my personal growth as a human, with a great deal having accumulated on both counts. Both Hive, and me personally, have experienced some strong challenges over the last five years, and I'm deeply grateful that I was able to keep my focus and consistency here, through enjoyable and not-so-enjoyable times, without wavering or giving up even once.

Hive has been in a very rough spot for a while now, with so many fellow Hivers having left, or becoming mostly inactive, and so many projects failing or folding, and although that has been very sad for me, I've remained. With so many challenges that our beloved Blockchain has faced over the past few years, why have I stayed? It's because I love and believe in this Blockchain and its community, and our 'We Are Alive Tribe' community, and no matter the drama or difficult conditions and situations, that has never changed. I said years ago that I'm all in for the long haul on Hive, and that's held true to this day.

I've invested a good amount of assets, both fiat and crypto, into the Hive Blockchain Ecosystem, as well as gagglefucks of time, attention, and care, and every investment has, in one form or another, returned benefits to me, both directly or indirectly, and I intend to continue doing so, as I set my goals for the next five years. Whalehood is still far off, but I will indeed get there, with Orca Level approaching ever closer each day. I've come a huge way on Hive, and in so many different ways, and guess what, I'm just getting started!

Yesterday, Tuesday, I left the Flow House, very late indeed, by a bit after 4PM, mostly due to battling tech issues on my laptop. It was another rainy day, and when I finally did come down, and given my preoccupation with getting everything on my laptop working again (don't ask...lol!), I didn't focus on any land work, other than unloading Ano's truck after the Sunday market, and helping to move the perishible food from the cooler in Wabisabi, to the refrigerators at Tutu's (our fridge in Wabisabi died yesterday), so that the cooler could be used for the Wednesday town run. Once that was completed, I returned to making food for Avi (who's paying me to do so) and myself in Wabisabi, that I had started and mostly finished by the time it was time to move the food, and then Avi and I shared a short dinner, before I collected my leftover superfood fire coffee, and headed back to the Flow House, to continue my work with Hermes, and to begin my evening Hive tasks. I got through all of my notifications by a bit after 10PM, and after one more round of working with Hermes, I went to bed by just before 12:30AM. I woke up just before 5:30AM, having slept well, going to prepare my superfood fire coffee in Wabisabi, then returning to the Flow House to work with Hermes a bit more, and to write this 5th-Hiverary post. It's now just after 1:15PM, so it's quite a good time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, and then on some jungle-community/land work and tasks. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's reincarnation of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

2026 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
