I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 8 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I have a long-standing love for Linux, most especially Arch Linux (and its interesting variants like Artix and recently Olmarchy), open-source sorftware (and hardware too) in general, sovereign blockchains and their ecosystems like Hive, Qortal, Blurt, and most recently, sovereign agentic-AI frameworks like Hermes Agent, and for so very many good reasons. Open-source (and open-weight for AI models) and community-driven endeavors and projects are the way to go (in my not-so-humble opinion), and where the most interesting and exciting developments happen.

Linux captured my attention more that a decade (13+ years) ago, with Arch Linux dominating my focus for almost as long (8+ years). I recently converted one of my three Arch Linux installations into Artix Linux, which is another fascinating variant, with Olmarchy Linux (also based on Arch) having recently come onto the scene, and very strongly piquing my interest, most especially because it is designed to be a highly malleable agentic-AI operating system, with most agent harnesses built in and ready to go. I'd really like to explore Olmarchy soon, though I don't want to replace any of my current Arch/Artix installations (all of which are more than 8 years old) to do it, so it's currently sitting on my wish list for future techie deep dives.

I've explored many different blockchain ecosystems over the last several years, and Hive (no surprise), Qortal, and Blurt have been by far the most interesting, and I've been growing my accounts and assets on these sovereign chains since I first discovered them, and with excellent results indeed. I do really wish that the developers of these blockchains got along better, and cooperated and collaborated with each other more, however, as each ecosystem is still basically in its own respective bubbles.

I'm very grateful to my Bitcoin-loving jungle neighbor Jyoti for getting my into working with sovereign AI and agentic-AI frameworks in the spring of this year, because it's been a huge game-changer for me, especially since discovering Hermes Agent, the best agentic-AI framework that I've ever seen. While I started using Hermes with locally-run AI models, I found that I was able to make far substantial progress on my chosen project focuses using larger, more capable open-source and open-weight cloud-based models, with my three favorites being GLM5.3-Flash, Kimi-K3, and Nemotron-3-Ultra. I've accomplished a huge amount of very technical work with all three.

One of the most fascinating and exciting possible endeavors that I can do with my Hermes Agent agentic-AI system is to work toward integrating (Arch/Artix/Olmarchy) Linux, assorted blockchain ecosystems (Hive, Blurt, Qortal), and the wider open-source software framework, into one functional and coherent whole. I've already been working to integrate Hive and Hermes together, with notable success. Omarchy Linux is definitely tempting me, though, exactly because Hermes (along with many other agentic-AI harness frameworks) is so deeply integrated into every aspect of how Olmarchy functions, and can even be used to mold and sculpt it into the exact operating system that people want. That's incredible, and right up my alley. Now I've just got to install it somewhere and dive into expoloring it.

Yesterday, Friday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, by just after 3PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts, after which I got my machete and I went to begin clearing in the old chicken pen area, which had become very overgrown. I also located and cleared around four of the cacao trees that I had planted there years ago, one of which was already producing beautiful purple pods. After a good round of clearing, I took a shower, made myself and Avi (whose paying me to do so) some food in Wabisabi, shared dinner with him, collected my leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and then I finally headed back to the Flow House, to begin my evening Hive tasks, and to work with Hermes some more. I got through all of my notifications by around 9PM, and after working another round with Hermes, I went to bed, way too late, by just before 12:30PM. I woke up by just after 8AM, still feeling that I needed a bit more sleep, going to prepare my superfood fire coffee in Wabisabi, then returning to the Flow House, to work another round with Hermes, and to write this post. It's now just after 1:45PM, so it's a very good time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, and then on some jungle-community/land work and tasks. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until my BPUD post later this evening or tomorrow morning, and the next version of these posts tomorrow afternoon! 2026 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
