I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
I've been taking some long breaks in between my deep dives into testing llama.cpp build and run flags, mostly via the llama-cpp-turboquant fork, partly because there is so much to take into account, synthesize, and test, and I have limited time and mental bandwidth to do everything that I need to do, but I am still making progress in small steps. Since I haven't yet been able to get my two chosen local LLMs running with it for any notable length of time as of late, building my agentic-AI system with Hermes Agent has mostly been sitting on the proverbial shelf for the past few weeks. While this does frustrate me a fair bit, with patience I know that I will indeed get everything working as I need at some point soon.

As I've mentioned a few times already, just keeping up to date with the breakneck speed of development in the AI space, especially with local open-weight LLM development, and even just with Hermes Agent itself, is almost a full-time job, and I'm seriously barely keeping up. A whole host of new features and capabilities have recently been added to Hermes Agent that I very much can't wait to try out.

A new open-weight LLM was recently released, GLM-5.2, that is drawing a huge amount of attention in the AI and agentic-AI community, because in terms of overall capabilities, it is currently only behind Claude Fable 5. This model is still way too large for me to attempt to run locally, but I've got the feeling that this won't be the case for all that much longer. It is possible to make use of it via certain cloud providers, however, and even for free (though with rate limits, of course). I'm strongly considering using it in this way for the focused purpose of creating a set of consistently and reliably working build and run flags for llama-cpp-turboquant, to get my two local models, Qwen3.6 35B-A3B and Gemma 4 26B-A4B up and running well for long-term use with Hermes Agent.

I'm really not into working with cloud-based models, especially in any regular, long-term manner, because I don't at all like the idea of my data passing through, and being recorded on the hosting servers. So if I do decide to do so, it would need to be for very short-term, focused work, to bootstrap my own local functional systems.

Thankfully it's very easy to set up Hermes Agent to work with either locally-run or cloud-based models, so if I do decide to make use to GLM-5.2 for focused work, I shouldn't have any issues. Given this model's capabilities, I'm thinking that doing so may indeed be worth it for what I'm hoping to accomplish. We shall see. I'll look into this more closely later today.

Yesterday, Thursday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, by a little after 2PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts, and to doing a quick food-supply run to Tutu's to restock Wabisabi. Once I had those done, I collected and began preparing a batch of my medicinal tea blend, for the first time in quite a while. This took a bit longer than expected, but I did finally get it steeping in the first of three rounds of hot water. Upon completing that for the moment, I took a quick break up at the Flow House, before going to assertain the specifics of running a new ethernet cable to Elohi's hut, from either the Casbah or Braja's place. It turned out that I didn't have quite enough ethernet cable left, so more needs to be ordered before completing this task. After doing as much as I could on that for the time being, I went to Wabisabi to make myself some food, and to collect my leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, before heading back to the Flow House to begin my evening Hive tasks. I got through all of my notifications by about 9:30PM, and after scanning my X feed for a bit (I'm just going to say that X is the absolute best platform for not only far-more-accurate information on what's actually happening in the world, outside of the fake mainstream media echo chamber, as well as for domains like open-source and AI/agentic-AI development, among many others), I went to bed by around 11PM. I woke up quite late, around 8:30AM, having thankfully slept very well, going to prepare my superfood fire coffee in Wabisabi, then returning to the Flow House to scan my X feed a little more, and to write this post. It's now just after 1PM, so it's an excellent time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, and then on some jungle-community/land work and tasks. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's iteration of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.

All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

There will be more ALIVE pools coming soon!

This is our collaboratively shared Witness node between the We Are Alive Tribe, and @borniet's and my MMB (Maximum Mutual Benefit) Project, here to build something good for all of us! The higher in the witness ranking we go, the more that we'll be able to grow the We Are Alive Tribe, and the more that we'll be able to share with all of you!

If you appreciate what we're doing with the We Are Alive Tribe, and feel inspired and motivated to lend a hand in building and growing our decentralized community economy and financial framework, which benefits all of us, community conntributions/donations/investments may be sent to our 'We Are Alive Tribe Sovereign Wealth Investment Fund' account, @waat-swif. They're deeply appreciated, and are put to very good use.

Bjorn is our badass coder who hosts and manages our (and also Bradley's) community backends, he creates all sorts of useful tools, and he assists people all over the Blockchain constantly. He redefines the term 'busy'!

Bradley's tenaciously committed and all-in on Hive for the long haul (just like me!), and the higher his witness goes in the ranking, the higher the weekly BBH and BBHO dividend payouts will be!
