I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I had intended to install OpenClaw in the Artix Linux installation in which I've been conducting my AI-agent experiments and tests, yesterday, though that got postponed because, following and investigating an intuition that I had, I realized that the default installation method for OpenClaw wouldn't work on my non-systemd system, because it has no fallback for any other init system aside from systemd. Thankfully there are multiple ways to get around that, which I've been researching and synthesizing, and from that I now have a pretty good understanding of what I need to do to get everything up and running as I'd like.

Yes, I could have just jumped in and worked through the errors that I encountered, but I really like to be prepared for as many possible issues as I can ahead of time, especially common ones, so I decided to take more time to learn and understand the underlying frameworks upon which I'll be depending, as I implement my AI-Agent master plan on my laptop. I'm learning and understanding so much more now, and I'm getting very close.

Hive-Divider-Green-Rounded-2.png

The basic parts of my soon-to-be local AI-agent system are, one, RamaLama, to acquire and manage FOSS (Free and Open-Source Software) models via podman-style containers, two, Podman and Podman Desktop, to provide the containerization and assorted tools to work with containers and pods, three, OpenClaw, which will have its daemon gateway server running from a container, and its command-line interface installed separately in my host system, to build, manage, and extend my AI-agent system and team, and four, the various task-specialized AI model and agent combinations, to collaborate and fulfill the desired goals, tasks, or purposes. This AI system will have a few layers, but constructing it in this manner makes the whole process immensely simpler, easier, and quicker than any method that I've found so far.

Hive-Divider-Green-Rounded-2.png

I still need to choose the appropriate FOSS AI models to use in my AI-agent system, which is not an easy decisions all, I've got to say, as there are so many different families of AI models, as well as innumerable iterations and variations, with some able to be run on very-low-end hardware, while others require more-than-consumer-grade hardware resources to function as intended. My laptop is quite high end, but there are a whole bunch of larger models that would not work for me at all, especially if I intend to use multiple models simultaneously in a collaborative AI-agent system. This part could take some time.

I learned of a way to work with Claude Code locally, using my own model, so once I choose a strong-coding model, I'll set it up as my coding-and-development agent, which would then be invoked, directed, and managed by the primary OpenClaw orchestrator/supervisor agent, for which I also still need to choose a suitable model, along with the other specialized agents that I'll create as I go. My most significant limitation in setting up multiple concurrent models and agents will be my laptop's hardware resources, which while excellent in conventional standards, are quite modest for setting up and running larger, more complex model-agent combinations, interactions, and flows. I'm determined to find a sweet spot, however, that will work well with the hardware resources that I do have available. Once the basic system is set up, there's going to be a whole lot of testing, tweaking, experimenting, and refining, as I go.

Yesterday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my numerous Sunday Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, by around 3:30PM, focusing on a few small jungle-community tasks. I already had a few days of photos for my posts, so aside from one or two, I didn't take any others. I returned to the Flow House early, as I usually do on Sundays, after making myself some food in Wabisabi, and collecting my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge. Of course I did more research into building my local AI system, before finally beginning on my evening Hive tasks. I got through all of my notifications by just about 10PM, and after some asset management, and some more AI research, I went to bed by 1AM, way too late again. I woke up by about 7AM, still feeling that I needed more sleep, preparing the two posts that I had to write today (this one, and my Weekly-Hive-Goals-and-Progress Update), doing more AI research, going to make my superfood fire coffee in Wabisabi, then returning to the Flow House to collect the asset data for my goals-and-progress update, and finally to begin writing this post. It's now just after 1:45PM, so it's a really good time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, and then on jungle-community/land work and tasks. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's edition of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

2026 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.

tydynrain, you mined 1.0 🟧 HBIT. If you'd replied to another Hive user, the HBIT would be split: 0.9 to you and 0.1 to them as a tip. When you mine HBIT, you're also playing the Wusang: Isle of Blaq game. 🏴‍☠️

Sorry, but you didn't find a bonus treasure token today. Try again tomorrow...they're out there! Your random number was 0.7664258782271133, also viewable in the Discord server, #hbit-wusang-log channel. | tools | wallet | discord | community | daily <><

Check for bonus treasure tokens by entering your username at a block explorer A, explorer B, or take a look at your wallet.
There is a treasure chest of bitcoin sats hidden in Wusang: Isle of Blaq. Happy treasure hunting! 😃 Read about Hivebits (HBIT) or read the story of Wusang: Isle of Blaq.
