I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! πππβ‘π₯π₯β΄οΈβ³οΈβοΈπ£π±β¨π€

Warm greetings all! πππβ¨π€
My growing fascination with locally-run FOSS (Free and Open-Source Software) AI models and agents, and learning and figuring out how to craft a multi-purpose and multi-capable AI agent of my own, to act as an onboard assistant on my Arch/Artix Linux laptop, is indeed taking up quite a bit of my focus as of late, with both a few setbacks and notable progress. What I'm learning is there there are not only assorted FOSS AI models and agents, that people can use/and or modify as they see fit, but there are also several different AI-agent development frameworks, that make it quite simple and easy to build custom AI agents, to meet particular needs and purposes.

So while I'm still exploring podman's container-pod way of doing it, which I like a lot, I'm also now expanding my search a bit to other frameworks that would facilitate creating my own ideal custom AI agent. I'm just going to say that Linux and FOSS frameworks are truly incredible, and for so many reasons, and the fact that there exist several quite easy paths within those community-driven frameworks to install, configure, run, and customize locally-installed AI models and agents, that are open to anyone, exemplifies that point exceedingly well indeed.

While there are all sorts of tools that could be incorporated into my custom AI agent, to expand its capabilities in assorted ways, the two main purposes that I want to it to fulfill are to do autonomous and/or directed synthesized and summarized web searches, and to be able to perform partially-autonomous and partially-constrained operations in my Arch/Artix Linux installations, such as searching for and editing files, troubleshooting, testing, automating, maintaining, and even developing helpful and useful custom systems. Once I'm able to get those two areas of functionality working as I'd like, then I'll likely explore implementing other domains of capability. I'm sure that I could come up with all sorts of other useful tasks for it to do, both locally on my laptop, and online, perhaps even on Hive at some point.

I'm still very new in this AI-agent domain of learning and exploration, and although I am certainly making excellent progress, there's still so much to learn, so the process of becoming proficient in it will of course take me some time. The potential benefits to being able to implement this on my Arch/Artix systems make it well worth the time and effort I think, especially if I'm able to replicate it easily to my other two Arch installations.

The best thing about building my own personal and locally-run onboard AI agent, is that my data does not leave my computer, as it would if I were to make use of cloud-based AI infrastructure, so I'll have the benefits of a quite-capable custom AI agent, while at the same time keeping my sensitive information private. That sounds pretty great to me.

Yesterday, Tuesday, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks by around 1PM, I prepared for a session that was scheduled for 1:30PM. The session started slightly late, it went very well, and we wrapped it up by just after 5:15PM, after which I headed to turn on the generator, then to Wabisabi to make myself some food, and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hands, I returned to the Flow House to begin my evening Hive tasks. While I didn't get through all my notifications last night, I did got close, finally stopping by just before 10PM, to do some asset management, do a little more AI-agent research, then to go to bed by just before 12:30AM. I woke up just after 8AM, having slept fairly well, going to prepare my superfood fire coffee in Wabisabi, then heading back to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 2PM, so it's an excellent time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, and then on some jungle-community/land work and tasks. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's iteration of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! πππβ¨π€

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.

All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! πππβ¨π€

There will be more ALIVE pools coming soon!

This is our collaboratively shared Witness node between the We Are Alive Tribe, and @borniet's and my MMB (Maximum Mutual Benefit) Project, here to build something good for all of us! The higher in the witness ranking we go, the more that we'll be able to grow the We Are Alive Tribe, and the more that we'll be able to share with all of you!

If you appreciate what we're doing with the We Are Alive Tribe, and feel inspired and motivated to lend a hand in building and growing our decentralized community economy and financial framework, which benefits all of us, community conntributions/donations/investments may be sent to our 'We Are Alive Tribe Sovereign Wealth Investment Fund' account, @waat-swif. They're deeply appreciated, and are put to very good use.

Bjorn is our badass coder who hosts and manages our (and also Bradley's) community backends, he creates all sorts of useful tools, and he assists people all over the Blockchain constantly. He redefines the term 'busy'!

Bradley's tenaciously committed and all-in on Hive for the long haul (just like me!), and the higher his witness goes in the ranking, the higher the weekly BBH and BBHO dividend payouts will be!
