I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #1168 - 14,000 HP Today, and Trial-Error-Progress with the Payout Scripts - Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Wednesday, October 8, 2025

I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

As of right now I'm sitting at just under 2 HP until I reach 14,000 Hive Power, which is quite a big milestone indeed, and also just one of countless steps on my irrevocable path to whaledom. I just reached 72 Reputation yesterday, and now 14K HP today, so I certainly seem to be on a roll! It's so satisfying to see my Hive Power at these levels, and to see it growing so quickly. Now I need to gain 1,000 HP before the end of the year to reach my year-end goal of 15,000 Hive Power. Once I achieve 15,000 HP, then my sights will be locked on 20,000 Hive Power for my 2026 Hive Goal.

On another topic in which I know that many of you have interest, now that we have the payouts scripts mostly working (there are still some issues), I wanted to give an update on where we stand at the moment. While HIVE going out in our daily ALIVE dividends is functioning, some of you might have noticed that the usual layer-2 tokens were not successfully sent yesterday. Bjorn ran a make-up layer-2 payout not long ago, and we have our fingers crossed for the next payout, since getting our payout scripts to work with the new rate limits added to Hive Engine is a fair bit of trial and error at this point. Bjorn has very little availabile time presently, but he's doing the best that he can with the small bits of less-busy time that he has to get our Alive Tribe backend up and running smoothly once again. We'll get there, patiently, one step at a time.

Not long after us getting our payout scripts functioning stably, dependably, and reliably again with HIVE in the mix, and bumping up the amounts of the layer-2 tokens being sent out daily, I'm expecting the market price of ALIVE to rise markedly, which I'm sure all of you will appreciate quite a lot, unless you're trying to acquire ALIVE cheaply that is...lol! I wish I had sufficient investment liquidity to buy a whole lot more, as there are still some sweet deals on the ALIVE market!

Since most of our weekly HIVE income comes from our delegation of 20,000+ BEE to @bee.voter, I want to start putting more focus on diversifying the ongoing daily and weekly sources for HIVE, to create a more resilient system with more redundancy, so that we're not reliant on only one main project to continue our daily and weekly HIVE payouts. The only downside to more people choosing to acquire ALIVE is the fact that we presently have a fairly fixed weekly income in HIVE, and in the layer-2 assets that we distribute, so the more ALIVE holders and stakers that there are, the fewer HIVE and layer-2 tokens everyone would receive, since we'd have the same amounts of assets to distribute to more people with larger holdings, unless I'm able to keep actively growing our income steams for HIVE and assorted layer-2 assets, which I am endeavoring to do, of course.

The We Are Alive Tribe is growing into a new era and level, and we're deeply grateful to those of you who have chosen to join and to support us in building a community that is mutually-beneficial and supportive for everyone who's a part of it. We can't do it without you, and we want our members and supporters to feel well acknowledged and appreciated, which is part of why I want to create excellent returns for those holding and staking ALIVE. The more support that we receive, the more, and better, that we will he able to support, and to help y'all to grow with us.

Yesterday, Wednesday, the session that I had scheduled for 1:30PM was canceled, so I ended up using the extra time, after finishing up my Hive tasks by a little after 11AM, to do some much-needed maintenance on my phone, and on one of my Arch Linux installations (the one presently running on my laptop, I have two others as well which get swapped in and out of my laptop periodically), to move a whole bunch of photos, 315.4GB, from the storage on those devices over to a 2TB SSD dedicated to long-term storage. It feels really good to have freed up so much space on my hardware, and to finally have one place to archive and store my photos. After all my system maintenance, I finally left the Flow House quite late, a little after 3:30PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts. Once I had a nice batch of shots taken, I gave some time to collecting and restocking various important food supplies for the Landing from Tutu's, after which I took a quick asset-management break up at the Flow House, then I went to secure another section of screen, with a staple gun and a ladder, over at Sooozie's place. Upon finishing that for the day, I took a shower, and I made myself some food (spiced-and-seasoned ground beef, eggs, onions, tomatoes, longevity spinach leaves, olive oil, and sea salt) in the Landing, and after eating my fill, I collected my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and with that in hand, I headed back to the Flow House to begin my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done by just after 9:30PM, and after some asset management, I went to bed by just after 10:15PM. I woke up just after 6AM, having slept well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. I paused that for a little over an hour to go attend the Thursday community heartshare meeting. I left a bit early from that to head back to the Flow House to continue with this post. It's now just after 1PM, so it's a wonderful time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for my posts, collecting coconut water and coconut meat from several younger coconuts to begin another round of kefir fermentation, and then community/land work. 2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
