I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #1156 - Major HIVE Payment Issue Resolved, and Preparing for a Sunday Funday Out - Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Friday, September 26, 2025

I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

I've got quite a story for y'all today. Our plan to add HIVE to the daily ALIVE dividends, and double the amount of HIVE to our HP delegators, was almost thrawted before it even got started. After publishing the last iteration of this post yesterday, much to my horror, I realized that the usual HIVE payouts for BEE delegated to @bee.voter did not arrive on my account, or on @aliveandsocial, which is the delegator account for our 20,000+ BEE. This was very bad, as if the missed-payout issue were not resolved, not only wouldn't we be able to add HIVE to the daily ALIVE dividends, but we wouldn't even be able to pay our HP delegators.

As soon as I noticed what happened (or didn't happen, as the case may be), I went to work investigating the cause of the issue, looking for any update posts on @bee.voter (there was nothing new), and upon finding no useful information, I went directly to the HELIOS project's Discord server, to contact the head of the project directly. I mentioned the missed-payout issue in the #general channel, and given the low activity there, I wasn't expecting much. Very thankfully the project leader did see my comment, which surprisingly allowed him to both find and fix a bug in the payout script. I had heard a rumor that the HIVE payouts for BEE and POB delegations to @bee.voter and @pob.voter might be ending, so asked if the rumor was true, and I was told that it was indeed not, which was wonderful news. The HIVE payouts very thankfully came in soon after on my account and on @aliveandsocial, much to my immense relief. I did the same thing this morning about the missed HIVE payouts for POB delegated to @pob.voter, which was also rectified. The two payout scripts were updated, so that missed payouts will hopefully no longer happen.

Yesterday, after finally receiving the HIVE payouts on multiple Alive Tribe accounts (that delegate BEE to @bee.voter), I collected all the HIVE and sent it to @aliveandthriving, except for 11 HIVE that I left on @aliveandsocial for the Wednesday HP delegation payouts. Once I had the HIVE consolidated, I powered up our new allotment of 20 HIVE to @aliveandthriving, with 10 of the remaining 16+ HIVE being allocated for the daily ALIVE dividend payouts, and the rest being left as a buffer, in case we receive less HIVE some weeks. So aside from some script changes, we're basically ready to go as planned for Wednesday, October 1st.

I'm very grateful that I was able to resolve this huge HIVE payment issue, and that things are moving forward as planned. While I have gotten into the habit of doing most of my asset management for the We Are Alive Tribe on Sundays, I started yesterday with the HIVE powerup on @aliveandthriving, and I'll finish the rest today, because I'm planning on going off-property with a few GaiaYoga people tomorrow for Sunday Funday down along the coast.

It's been around a year since I've gone out for Sunday Funday last, or even been to the ocean (I know, it's ironic living on an island and not going to the beach), so this is quite a rare occasion indeed. As I've been mentioning, things are shifting quickly, so it feels like it's time to wander out of my jungle-hermit seclusion, to meet the wider Lower Puna world once again. I've got to say that it's going to be very weird having to wear clothes again, even if only for a very short time (as our black-sand beach, Kehena, is clothing optional, and has been since 1955), because I haven't worn any at all for, well, quite a long time. I think that it will be a very good thing to get off-property, to swim in the ocean again, and to perhaps even be a little more social than I have been in a long time. I'll also be sure to do a lot of photography for my posts while I'm out and about along our lovely coastline. We'll see how it goes!

Yesterday, Friday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, a little after 1:30PM, and while I had intended to do some photography for my posts first, the weather was far from ideal for it, and since I still already had two days of photos taken for my posts, I skipped it, to get into some land work instead. I helped Braja with a few small tasks at her place first, then I went to chop and dump bad/old coconuts at the upper coco bar, and to tidy up the area a bit. When I had that done, I took a quick asset-management break up at the Flow House, after which I went to do a round of walking around the property to find harvestible bananas (I found one rack). With that done, I took a shower, took one more quick break up at the Flow House, and then with my machete in hand, I did some more clearing at various spots along the second driveway. After having cleared another good swathe, I took one more shower, stopped by the Landing to collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and with that in hand, I headed back to the Flow House to begin my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything very early, by around 8:30PM, and after some asset management, and a scan of my X feed, I went to bed just before 11PM. I woke up a bit too early again, around 4AM, and unable to sleep, I did a little asset management, before making another mostly-unsuccessful attempt at sleep. I woke up again about 7:30AM, still feeling that I needed just a little more sleep, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 11:45AM, so it's a fantabulous time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my other few important Hive takes, before preparing for a session that's scheduled for 1:30PM. 2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
