I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #1121 - Next Fiat Investment to Be Initiated Today, and a Major Shift in Living Situation May Be Coming - Big Island, Hawai'i - Friday, August 22, 2025

I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

I'm scheduled to meet up with my crypto-loving jungle neighbor today to begin the process of swapping $600 cash into LTC, which I should have in my wallet as SWAP.LTC in one week, so by Saturday, August 30th. I can't wait to finally get the ball rolling, because the longer that I can keep it in the SWAP.HIVE:SWAP.LTC pool, the better, as it will allow me to do an even larger HIVE powerup near the end of the year.

Aside from the 5 months and 10 days that I lived off-property, my entire time on Hive has been done from here, off-grid in the jungle, at GaiaYoga Gardens. Most of my time in Hawaii on the Big Island has been here as well, and while I'm very grateful to have been able to live here as I have for so long (6+ years), it's never been easy, and there have always been some very significant challenges.

Up until this point I've mostly been able to make things work the way that I need at GaiaYoga. Unfortunately, certain things are becoming untenable here once again, and if I am not able to resolve them, I will need to look for another place to live. I've known for a while now that I'd probably be leaving GaiaYoga at some point, I just didn't know when. That time might indeed be soon.

The idea of having to uproot myself again, and all the chaos that will ensure from that process, then do my best to reroot somewhere new, is pretty terrifying. GaiaYoga has never been ideal for me, for many reasons, as much as I've appreciated it, more 'just good enough', but it's the best that I've found up to this point to meet my needs. Just good enough, however, isn't really sufficient any longer.

I don't know if relocating yet will be necessary, but it's definitely looking like that is the case, much to my intense chagrin. I'm following up on an offer that was made to me a few months ago, to see if it's still open. I may be able to make that living situation work. The one thing about the possibility of living in that new location, which is very close to GaiaYoga, is that I would be living alone on a property, so I would interact with a lot fewer people than I do now, which probably isn't a good thing, as I'm already basically a lonely hermit. I simply pray that things flow easefully, and that I can make a new location work for what I need, if I do end up having to relocate. May it be so.

Yesterday, Friday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, a little after 2PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts. When I had that done, I had intended to clear and weed a particular planting bed, but instead I found myself in a long conversation with Avi (a very kind, caring fellow who's staying here for a while) about some of the untenable things for me here at GaiaYoga. That conversation lasted longer than I'd expected, so I didn't get to my planting bed. After talking with Avi, I collected my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, and with that in hand, I made my way back to the Flow House, to begin my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done by just before 10:30PM, and after some asset management, and a scan of my X feed, I went to bed just after 11:30PM. I woke up around 6AM, having slept well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing (where I got into another converation with Avi, talked about Hive, and helped him create a Hive account, @avidrucker), then returning to the Flow House (after dropping off some superfood fire coffee with Soozi, and talking with her for a bit about the untenable issues) to write this post. It's now just after 12PM, so an excellent time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my other few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for my posts, straining and blending kefir, and then community/land work. 2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
