I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #1108 - My 5th External Investment into Hive Is Coming Soon! - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Saturday, August 9, 2025

I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

While I haven't done so yet, my fifth external investment into Hive, and my third fiat-dollar investment, will be carried out as soon as possible, this round being for $600 that will be allocated to my Hive Power, after a few months of compounding in the SWAP.HIVE:SWAP.LTC pool (since I would receive it as LTC). So far I've invested two rounds of off-chain crypto assets ($600+$2,000), and with this 5th investment, it will be 3 fiat-dollar investments ($100+$300+$600) into the Ecosystem.

My first external crypto investment into Hive, for $600, from PKOIN earned on Bastyon (formerly Pocketnet), is what allowed me to do my mega-powerup to dolphin level on the December 2023 HPUD. The second crypto investment, of $2,000, which came as a gift from a friend for some useful crypto investing suggestions that I had given him, and my first and second fiat investments, for $100 and $300, went into layer-2 tokens and diesel/liquidity pools. It's very curious and interesting to me, as it was completely unplanned, that both of my two investments into Hive Power are for $600.

So quite soon I will have invested $3,600 into into Hive, $1,200 into layer 1 (HP), and $2,400 into layer 2 (income tokens and diesel/liquidity pools), though unfortunately this doesn't reflect in my present layer-2 wallet and liquidity-pool holdings, since many tokens dropped quite notably in fiat value. Crypto does it's thing, jumping and dropping in value, so I don't pay too much mind to the fiat values, as they can and often do change notably and quickly, and in both directions.

Investments into layer 1, HP and HBD in Savings, are more consistent, dependable, reliable, and stable, but I'd be a fool not to take advantage of the excellent investment opportunities in layer 2 as well, I just need to do so with care and discernment. From these external investments, and my daily Hive tasks and asset management, my assets in layer 1 and layer 2 are growing ever more quickly, which is providing me with increasing liquidity to invest more deeply.

Swapping half of the $600 worth of SWAP.LTC that I'll receive, from this soon-to-be 5th investment into SWAP.HIVE, to then add to the SWAP.HIVE:SWAP.LTC pool, will almost certainly generate some quite excellent pool fees for the few months that I'll have assets in the pool, which will allow me to do an even bigger powerup. I'm also thinking that for my next fiat investment (after this upcoming one), that I'll do everything the same, except that I'll leave my assets in the pool for a much longer period of time, to keep growing. That has the potential to increase my investment liquidity substantially over time. I intend to begin leveraging Hive assets against several off-chain assets like BTC, BCH, DOGE, ETH, and of course LTC, in a much bigger way soon.

Yesterday, Saturday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, a little before 2PM, diving first into some photography for my posts, and some sunbathing on the trampoline in the Peanut Lawn. Once I felt well sunned, I got my machete and did more clearing work at various points along trails. Once I had cleared a good area, I took a shower, stopped by the Landing to collect some leftover food, and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and with those in hand(s) I made my way back to the Flow House to get into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I finished everything up by a bit after 9:30PM, and after some asset management, and a scan of my X feed, I went to bed around 11:45PM. I woke up just after 7AM, having slept well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 1:15PM, so a stellar time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my other few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for my posts, and then community/land work. 2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
