I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
As I've continue to dive deeper into diesel/liquidity pools, and become ever more enthralled and fascinated by them, I've noticed patterns in how they function when compared to each other, which has helped me to better assess their respective earning potential. The first and most important difference between various liquidity pools is that they fall into two categories, those that offer daily Liquidity Rewards (LP) rewards, and those that don't. This can, and often does, change over time, with rewards not returning for some pools, or other pools having rewards added to them. Once I came to understand the difference soon after first exploring them, I focused primarily on the pools that provided good daily rewards. Now, however, after a bit of a reassessment and shift in perspective, I've expanded the scope quite a lot, because even diesel pools that don't offer daily rewards can indeed offer solid benefits in terms of pool fees earned over time.
One of the patterns that I've noticed is that some pools, whether in terms of liquidity rewards or pool fees, only start paying them out once a certain (unknown) threshold is reached, which can be quite high for some token pairs (usually lower-value assets). For those pools, there is no benefit at all to our added liquidity until we cross a certain stake in the pool, which depending on from where we're starting, and how many assets with which we're playing, so it could come fairly quickly, or take quite some time indeed. Generally, the higher a token's value, the greater its income-generating leverage is in a pool, with some beginning to give fee and/or reward benefits even with dust quanties in pool stake.
So regardless of whether a pool offers liquidity rewards or only pool fees, the higher the value a tokens has, the better the benefits will usually be, which makes sense, of course. For the pools that only provide pool fees, it's essential to continue boosting the liquidity until fees are finally being generated, and since the fees are paid in the two tokens that are in the pool, this is the point when our assets in the pool become self-growing, even if initially slowly.
Of the pools that also offer daily rewards, there are often also thresholds for any payments to begin as well, or thresholds for which particular assets begin to be paid out. Some pools pay out both tokens that are paired in the pool, but start with only one, until a certain threshold is reached, at which point the second token also begins to be paid. For those pools it's also important to keep boosting the liquidity until both tokens in the pair are being paid out, which then allows us to just add them back into the pool, to keep our stake growing, without requiring external boosts any longer.
The absolute best pools are obviously those with higher-value, higher-leverage token pairs that offer great pool fees and liquidity rewards, with the second best being those that generate good fees, even with lower stake. While I'm still exploring and experimenting with lots of different pools, as I assess and catagorise them, I'm also beginning to hone in on the most useful ones, and to prioritize adding liquidity to them based on total benefit, and the resources that I have available at any particular time. Through this process I have no doubt that I'll be able to boost my asset generation and growth quite substantially moving forward. Diesel/Liquidity pools are fun, y'all, so keep in mind what I've shared here, and take the dive!
Yesterday, Friday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, around 2:30PM, giving my attention first to a little photography for these posts. I went to meet up with Alex in the fenced garden next to Kana's place, to do another round of weeding, at 3PM. We've been doing this regularly, which is necessary because everything grows fast out here, so we've thankfully been making some good headway into making it a functional garden once again. Once we finished up there for the day, I made my way back to the other side of the property, to first take a quick asset-management break up at the Flow House, and then to strain and blend kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao) in the Landing. When I had kefir done, I made myself a simple grilled-cheese, and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hand, I headed back to the Flow House, to gently jump into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. While I still wasn't able to get fully caught up, yet again (I've been 1-2 days behind since Monday), I got closer than I've gotten all week, being only 9 hours behind. I finally made myself stop around 11:45PM, and after some asset management, and a quick check on my Blurt notifications, I went to bed a little after 12:30AM. I woke up a bit after 6AM, still feeling that I needed more sleep, doing more asset management, starting on this post, getting out of bed around 7:30AM to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, and finally returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 1PM, so a marvelous time to end this post, so that I may get to my other few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a bit later in the afternoon, to do some photography for these posts first, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's edition of this post! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
