I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Today, Thursday, April 24, 2025, I've reached my 1,000th post for this Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry series, which is quite an accomplishment indeed, and for which I am deeply grateful. I've been writing and publishing 1-3 posts on Hive every single day even longer than this, however, for 3 years, 2 months, 23 days, or 1,178 days total, which represents 89.99% of my entire 3 years, 7 months, 1 day, or 1,309 days in total, on Hive. So 1,000 days, or 2 years, 8 months, and 25 days, of writng and publishing these daily posts, is 84.89% of my total time writing and publishing daily posts, and 76.39% of my total on Hive. Wow. Those numbers are wild even to me! I've been busy it would seem!

One thousand days ago this series of posts began when I was still living in Seaview with my ex-girlfriend Kai, as a way for me to express and process my pain, grief, and confusion after our breakup. Shortly thereafter, once I moved back to the jungle at GaiaYoga Gardens, they shifted into their present Off-Grid Jungle style, where I share all manner of different things, and that's how they've been ever since. These posts more than any are the epitome of my relentlessly tenacious commitment and dedication to Hive and it's community, and my unwaveringly determined consistency in what I've been building and growing here since I arrived.

One thing that I love about writing these posts is that in them I give myself the leeway to express and share whatever inspires, motivates, and interests me, as well as what I'm thinking and feeling in a more open and transparent manner, on a dazzling array of diverse and interconnected topics. This is my only series of posts where this is the case, with all others being much more topic-specific. While I really do appreciate all the post series that I write, and have written, I've been feeling called for a while now to begin a few new series of posts as well, as I've mentioned a few times already. The challenge that arises, though, is that because I like the series that I'm writing now, and adding in new series into my already quite full and busy schedule is not so easy, I don't know where and when I'd be able to fit them yet.

A series that is at the top of my list to start, is not actually a new one, but rather one that I haven't don't in quite a long time, my plant-and-garden posts in the Hive Garden community, since they are deeply aligned with my plant passion, and they were also the posts that always earned the most, bar-none. I stopped doing them soon after returning to GaiaYoga, mostly because maintaining a beautiful and functional gardens here is exceedingly challenging, so I didn't have much inspiring to share. Two of my 2025 Life Goals, 2.) prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again, and 3.) make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again, are directly connected here, because in part, I chose those goals to lay a solid foundation upon which I could begin my plant-and-garden posts again, because they would provide me interesting and inspiring subjects to share.

Two other post series that I want to begin are one photography-based one for the @visualshots community, and another focused on Hive asset-leveraging and investing. Both of these overlap with these posts a bit, since I share most of the photos that I take every day in them, and I talk about my asset-leveraging and growth adventures in them constantly as well. Because of that, to start those new series, I may have to end this series of posts, which I'm really not inclined to do, so I don't know exactly what I'm going to do about it yet. Doing multiple once-weekly and once-monthly series is generally pretty easy, but more than one once-daily posts makes things far more challenging with my schedule, so these new post series will most likely not be daily, which I think is fine. I'm sure that I'll find some way to make it work!

Yesterday, Wednesday, after wrapping up my Hive tasks, by around 12:30PM, I prepared to give a session at 1:30PM. The session started on time, but ended a little earlier than usual, so I had a little more time in the early evening, which was nice. Once the session ended, I stopped by the Landing to collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, then I headed straight back to the Flow House to dive into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I was able to get everything done by around 10:30PM, at which point I wrote and published My Entry for Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 216 - Mirrored Jungle Road, did some asset management, and checked my notifications on Blurt, finally going to bed around 11:45PM. I woke up just after 6AM, still very much feeling that I needed more sleep, doing more asset management, starting on this post, then getting out of bed around 8:30AM to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, before returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 2PM, so it's an excellent time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for these posts, and straining and blending kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao), and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's incarnation of this post! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
