It was a hot and muggy day to be out door-knocking. It rained off and on, but never enough to be a problem. After resolving some technical issues and a location issue, I hit my stride and knocked on almost 100 doors today.
By the end of the evening, I was very sweaty and exhausted, but I kept on going! Energy drinks are amazing things, I just hope I'm able to sleep tonight.
There were a few left-over doors that I had missed on previous lists. I drove 20 minutes to three different locations that were not exactly convenient to get to. But it was so satisfying to see all three lists completed!
I was glad to have had a haircut as that helped keep my head cool. Wearing a 100% linen shirt helps too. It sounds counter-productive, but I wear wool socks. It seems like that would be very hot, but actually it wicks sweat away from my feet and cushions them as I walk, so they work very well, better than linen or cotton. Wool socks are year-round socks as they work great in heat or in cold.
Bless the Most High!
We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.
No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13
Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations.
Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books. I am an affiliate for Libertas Publishing, your purchase will help our family grow financially.
It's happening, folks. The banks are going under! To educate our children about what is going on, there is a "Bank Bailout Book Bonanza" going on with the Tuttle Twins! Use coupon code FORTY
for 40% off your purchase! Check out the books here.
"Politicians like problems because they can claim to have solutions... but their solutions often create even more problems."
yeah! I know this trick with wooden socks, they are really great not only in cold, but in heat as well
natural materials are fine in any weather
you're so shiny all the time;) your photos make me smile too;)
this man looks like Leo DiCaprio but much fatter;)
is it your President elections member?
Yes, wool is fantastic. I wish I had more wool socks.
Yes he does sort of look like a fat Leo DiCaprio. Ron Robinson is running for Michigan House Representative. He's a big advocate for family rights, much better option than the guy representing us currently. Veteran, small business owner, he would represent the people who make the country function, rather than representing big corporate interests. Sadly, big corporate interests fund big political campaigns, so it's an up-hill battle.
Thank you!
As a knitter I concur on the virtues of wool. I knit wool socks year round. Breathable and they promote healthy skin. Quality wool is not itchy.
Thank you for literally doing footwork to preserve freedom.
It's worth the effort. It's so easy to complain and not do anything, I prefer to do something and NOT complain. :-)
I'm a big fan of wool. I'd be happy to send some HIVE or HBD for a new pair of wool sock... just name your price. @fiberfrau
My yarn is all packed up for a move, but will keep it in mind.
