I use the translation apps mostly to just translate one or a few words that I don’t understand, or am not sure I understand correctly. I indeed think it isn’t too good to use for much more, as language and communication are waaaay to complicated and multi-faceted to just “replace words by those in another language” so to speak.

Looks like people who wish to communicate using a different language should !INDEED start to learn them gradually (which can be done for free using apps or web platforms), instead of using such translation apps for communication. 🧘‍♂️🤓😏
