Not about our earnings.

I'm having a wild imagination right now and I'm gonna share every bit of it "so let's take this ride together" let's assume I'm broke "even though it's true to an extent" then I wake up to the sound of my alarm feeling all refreshed but then the thoughts of me not having money would now step in and I would be like "nope I'm not doing anything in this house today".

Then I will walk around my house without engaging in any chores and I ask myself what would be my reason behind it? "Then the answer will just flow to me" because you are broke. So since I don't have sufficient money my house should be looking like my problems. Thank you for staying with me all through this journey, and fortunately, it has come to an end.

Now back to the subject matter: It is said that "deviating a little" that cleanliness is next to godliness, and there wasn't any money attached to that statement. "Come to think of it, I thought that phrase was found in the scripture." I've learned something new while writing this prompt. So I've come to the conclusion that our level of earning has nothing to do with how clean we can be. Cleanliness comes from within and I can always tell people that.

You can't tell you are a clean person when inside of you isn't clean. Imagine someone coming outside to say my house is very clean, when you enter my house, you won't find any dirt on the floor, not even the slightest thing that relates to dirt. I live in a very healthy environment and I practice personal hygiene. And then when you look at the person saying all those statements mentioned above, the person is looking all tattered and scattered. The big question is "Would you believe that person?".

If there is one thing I'm learning from my aunt, it is cleanliness; you don't come outside to portray what you are not. That is the major reason I get angry at people who don't do what they preach. They are something today, and tomorrow you will find them doing something else entirely different from what they say they are or what they embodied.

I know people are likely to tie cleanliness with money, but then it isn't all about the funds. I know someone would say, "It's funds you'd use in getting the materials needed for keeping your house and environment clean?" That is very well known, but the truth would still be, our level of income has nothing to do with how clean we can be.

Haven't you visited a rich man's house and noticed certain things aren't in place? Despite having house help whom they pay a lot. If money were the main reason behind cleanliness, then nobody would visit us.

Neatness can exist independently without the influence of the level of wealth we possess. Because being clean and hygienic comes from within, it's not something that can be bought with money; rather, it is something that can be learned and will stick with us over time.

Thanks for reading 🧡

cleanliness really isn't about money. It’s more of a mindset and personal discipline. You can be broke and still be neat. I've seen rich people live in scattered spaces and people with little live in spotless homes.
