My Bucket List: Three Goals I’m Determined to Achieve

A bucket list, like we all know, is a highlighted list of things an individual hopes to tick or achieve in their lifetime, some of which could be a goal, an achievement, an experience, and so on. To be honest, these lists are an awesome source of boast and strength that keeps an individual alive and dreaming and gives them the zeal to keep going and keep trying. I'm certain everyone has a whole list of things they'd like to do or achieve, and these are their bucket lists. I'm no exception in this regard, and that's why today I'll be writing about some of the things I've got on my bucket list at the moment, although I've achieved some of these in the past, but then it's understandable that achieving one is an opening door to include another.

Take, for instance, some of those things in my bucket list in the past that are now a part of my reality. For example, I remember at one point in my life, part of my bucket list was to graduate from the university, and another was to secure a job, both of which are now a reality, although, like I said, achieving these is more like an open door to include more items on the list, just like even though I've a job at the moment, on my bucket list is a desire to secure a better job than this. Also in memory lane is how on my bucket list was the desire to one day get married and start my own family, and today it's now a reality I'm living in. So with the understanding of these, let's delve into the top 3 items on my bucket list at the moment.

On top of that list is one thing I've always been vocal about, both in speech and writing, and that's the desire to build or own a house of my own. This is a desire I've nurtured for years, and it was cultivated from my experience as a young child who grew up with his parents in a rented apartment. I know what it feels like to be a tenant, what it feels like to be ridiculed for that, and the embarrassment that can come from not having sole authority over where you call your home. This and various other things are why I've come to want this to be a reality for me, and I know making this a reality will bring about fulfillment and also ease the burden of paying rent yearly, especially with how rent has been increased almost on a yearly basis.

Another thing on the list is another part of life that I've longed to tick for years, and now that I've ticked the first stage towards that, which is to get married, now I can chase the sequel of the bucket list, which is the desire of becoming a father. This is one part of life I've always envisioned, and I just can't wait for the day, week, month, and year that I'll finally become a father. Achieving this will also bring about fulfillment, fill my life with joy, and go ahead to help build. Legacy and guide the next generation of my lineage.

Last on the list of top three things on my budget list is actually a desire to achieve financial stability, because when I achieve the two above-listed items, I'll need finance to maintain and manage these effectively. Achieving financial stability will help me further live a comfortable life, support my family, and not have to constantly worry about money to cater to my family. To achieve this, I'm currently thinking of starting a career as a content creator on social media, and hopefully this will be a medium that'll change my story for good.
