Inventors only invent to fulfill a reasonable purpose and can't control how the users choose to utilize their invention.
How a person decides to utilize the product is 100% their responsibility and they should be held accountable for their actions when they misuse an invention and not the inventors.
This is like blaming the person who invented insecticides like snipper over the death of those who decided to use snipper to commit suicide, commiting suicide with snippers has been occuring lately, originally snippers are invented to kill rodents, insect and reptiles , which is for the users benefit and protection against reptiles and insects
In this case those who decides to use it for suicidal purpose are responsible for their death and not the inventors of the product, the product is being misused and the inventors cannot be blamed or judged for the reckless decision of another person. the purpose of inventing the product wasn't for suicide, it was only misused.

Blaming an inventor over the user's intention and misuse of the purpose of an invention is really a bad way to judge , inventors manufacture their products to serve a beneficial purpose and that purpose is what they expect the users to utilize their products for, but when the user chooses to use an invention for the wrong purpose, either to harm themselves , fail to use a product for what it used for , that has nothing to do with the the inventor.
A good example in our digital world is our phones, phones were created for solely communication, interaction, and many other important purposes with good features.
If a user decides to use their phone to do illegal businesses, scam, gamble, blackmail and do so many evil things with their phones and Internet, can we blame the inventors of this phones for the intention of the user?
The answer is NO, We can't blame the inventors, because phones and Internet have and still serves us right in this digital world. The inventors cannot be blamed for the user's reckless decisions.

Let's also consider drugs and medicines, drugs like morphines are invented for good reasons in medicine, they are invented to relief patients from severe and excruciating pain. This is a very useful and have a clear purpose, we can't blame the inventors of this drugs for people's choices to abuse morphines , this is also applicable to the abuse of antibiotics, we can't blame the inventors of this medication because people have chosen to abuse antibiotics, antibiotics clearly have a good purpose to the body and the inventors intent or purpose for this product is clearly a positive one.
The inventor can't and shouldn't be blame for the constant abuse and consequences that comes with the abuse of these medication because they all serve useful purposes and should be only taken after a prescription.
If inventors are to take the blame for people's decisions , mistakes and recklessness over their invention, then the world won't grow.
Humans will always default, there are people who will always abuse good inventions, and this inventors have no control over these sets of humans in our world, have no access to the people their products reaches out to daily.
This inventors don't have the power to control people or humans, so they shouldn't be blamed for the reckless decision of a person who decided to abuse the intention of a product .
People who deserve to take the blame are the perpetrators, the users who think they are more knowledgeable than the inventors.
No! Investors can never be blamed if a user decides to use his for scamming.
Its truly sad how the world 🌍 has become. Things invented with good motives has been turned into bad usage.
But in all, good effects will continue to rank over bad effects.
You made a very good point. I agree that inventors usually create things for good and useful purposes, and people should take responsibility for how they choose to use them. Misusing a product is the user’s decision, not the inventor’s intention.
We can't blame the inventors for the things they invented to help us have a better life. The users who misuse them ought to take responsibility and be punished for doing so, and not play the blame game.
