To be really honest, my phone is always with me. At this point I will say my phone is my closest friend, it goes everywhere with me. My phone is a very important part of my daily life and I honestly can't think of a whole day without a phone. It's a very useful device for business, communication, entertainment, marketing, a source of knowledge, useful information and a source of happiness. The device is really useful and a solution to many issues. It's really useful to achieve my daily tasks and if I decide not to use my phone a full day, it's definitely for a good reason.

Because I'm always with my phone, it's now my closest companion, and I can only put it away when it's absolutely necessary, like when I'm at work, with an elderly person, I need to fix things around me and things that require me to give my full attention. The moment I'm free, I use my phone, because I have businesses to run with my phone and many more important things to do that only require a phone or a computer.
Most times, I can just pick up my phone, not because I'm done with other activities, but to check and scroll through notifications, messages, news headlines and other things I could come by.
I use my phone always and that's because I work with my phone more often, from marketing business on WhatsApp and other social media, to responding to messages and receiving from different customers. Also writing, I write using my phone and receive important calls. This makes my phone an important part of my daily life and activities. Also, with my phone I also get useful and educative information, it keeps me updated. This is the reason why staying without my phone for long feels like a disconnection from work and many activities, it feels like I'm losing out on important deals.

I use my phone more often because it plays an important role in my day to day activities, it's a very resourceful device that has made many things easier for us, it has made people run successful businesses from home and I can relate to that. It has impacted knowledge that I wouldn't have had enough time to flip through textbooks to get. In this generation I won't judge anyone for being clingy to their phone, especially if it's used to the right way, like to acquire knowledge, run an online shop and many other resourceful things people do with phones.
Yes, I can spend a few hours without my phone, I do this deliberately most times. Especially when I decide to wash, cook, clean, have a physical conversation, while I take a walk, in a crowded environment and most times sit and think without holding my phone. But definitely not my entire day, that would cost me money and even make me lose clients.

Technology makes life easier for many, we shouldn't just focus on the hours people spend on their phones, but on how they use their phones. If the phone is only a source of entertainment to them, that is where it becomes a problem, our phones should serve as good purposes like communication, information, or even a source of income, and not just for frivolities. We should be very intentional about when to use our phones and when to stop using our phones.
My phone is really useful, convenient, and necessary all day, but I also remember that there is a world and life beyond the screen. That's why I always try to put my phone down to always reconnect with the world and those around me.
