Believing in yourself is a mindset, confidence is having a strong , fearless and a positive mindset even in the face of fear.
It's normal to not be confidence when an experience is new, the nervousness and the tense is very normal, that's an experience alot of people can relate to, including myself.
But setting your mindset, believing you can do it and being courageous makes one confidence .
Confidence doesn't always come with experience, but also it's a decision, a decision to have a positive mindset, the willingness to learn and also take corrections .
Confidence is about courage and mindset.

I have been to an interview where everyone kept complaining about the interviewers , they kept saying the interviewers were interrogating aggressively and everyone that steps out keeps saying they felt less of themselves during the interview, I was scared at first, which is very normal but I had to build my self confidence and esteem, I became courageous, regardless of the fear.
I had to set my mindset to speak without fear, but rather I spoke confidently and boldly, I went in for the interview knowing my worth and the interviewers never gave a negative impression.
If I had lacked confidence, I would have allowed fear of failure ruined the interview, but I was confidence and faced my fear with courage.
Confidence is about mindset, experience plays a role too.
Building confidence is believing in yourself regardless of all doubts and fear. Confidence is a mindset, a mindset that comes with believing in yourself and having the courage to face your fears.

Being confidence also is a decision, it's a decision that in most cases comes from an experience, I can remember the first time I decided to build confidence, it was after a situation that made me felt less of myself as a kid , and I realized that I needed to make that decision, because being confidence and believing in myself is a necessary skill for survival, it's a skill that grows gradually and naturally.
Confidence is believing in yourself, being courageous to face your fears and defeating low self esteem.
Our brains are designed in ways that we are meant to learn from experience, make amendments from our experiences and grow when we decide to embrace growth.
But, confidence isn't always built from experience, it's first a decision and determination to be fearless and courageous enough to face all odds.

Have you ever been to a new environment, a place where you feel lost, no friend or buddy yet.
This was me the first day at University, no friend, just a timid teenager trying to find her way, the only way I could apply confident was by learning and asking strangers in same department, was able to take their note books and catch up with them, because I resumed late and that was how I was able to grow.
Confidence can be applied in new places, by being open to learn, being confidence enough to learn from anyone , being open, adapting and the willingness to ask questions when necessary and not feel less for asking questions. Confidence yield growth.
If I should find myself in a job that I don't know anyone and need help to navigate my way, I will also be confident enough to learn, ask questions and try to be present and functional until I become better at the job.
Confidence isn't built overnight, confidence keeps growing and as a fresher at a job, the only way I can build confidence is by being open to learn.
I believe confidence is real and it's built by having a courageous mindset, a decision to be courageous and defeating/overcoming fears .
So, confidence isn't always built by experience but also a decision to live above your fears and be courageous.
