I used to think maintaining a quiet time was only a spiritual exercise and that's because I first leant about quiet time as a teenager in a church. I grew up to understand that quiet time isn't just a spiritual exercise, but an exercise that relaxes a person physically, mentally, emotionally and otherwise.
As an adult, I only practice quiet times when life gets scary, overwhelming, and I have personal challenges navigating my way through a particular situation.
It's sad that I don't practice quiet time daily any longer.
I only practice quiet time when my heart heavy, and as someone who barely communicate how I feel to other people, practicing quiet time has helped me connect with my goals, dreams and given me fresh ideas to chase my dreams.

Maintaining a healthy quiet time creates the inner peace I need, time to reflect and relax my nerves. It acts like a temporal break or distraction from my thoughts and burdens.
Maintaining a quiet doesn't only connect me with God but also connects me with my goals, gives me ideas to go achieve what I want and peace.
When my thoughts are very occupied and full of burdens, thoughts and fear, practicing quiet time distracts me from those problems.
I don't meditate often, but the moment I feel the need to stay quiet and meditate, I don't hesitate to move to an environment that will help me actualize that.

The last time I practiced my quiet time that few weeks ago, I was in a serious dilemma at that point in my life, total confusion over an important life decision, and so my family members had alot of opinions about this particular decision and in the midst of the worries, all I needed was peace, absolute peace of mind.
I felt really pressured some weeks ago and then I decided to meditate. That was the longest quiet time that I have practiced in a while, but it was deserving and I got the answer I needed , found a way to solve the situation and my peace was restored.
Meditating gives me enough clarity and certainty and that's why I will practicing meditation.
Also, the act of meditating keeps me very aware of myself and in control of my life and the decisions I have to make.
I might not practice my quiet time daily, but I deeply appreciate every day and time that I practice my quiet time and that's because it's an important aspect of my life. It's the way I connect with my inner being, and find peace when life feels so overwhelming and hazy.
Practicing my quiet time is therapeutic and impactful.

In a noisy world like our current world, staying quiet and meditating deeply is one of the best things we can give ourselves and distract our minds from thoughts, worries and burdens.
In a world where we can hardly communicate our feelings to everyone due to some fear, meditating gives you the strength that's required and an opportunity to listen to your inner thoughts.
Practicing quiet time has given me peace and helped me grow in many ways.
Practicing my quiet time is an habit. I won't stop practicing and also recommend it to those around me, especially in our current world.
Practicing quiet time is the best way that I connect with myself and reflect deeply. It has taught me that most times the solution I want can always start with silence and tranquility.
Quiet time is a great idea. My challenge is quieting my mind so I can stop focusing on trying to solve problems.
Sending you some Ecency love!
Cheers!
