It's impossible for a society to exist with laws and rules that govern our affairs, and the reasons for these laws is to maintain orderliness and keep everyone safe. When we look at these rules and laws that govern the society, we ask ourselves questions: Do we have free wills? Do we really have the liberty to do what we want?

Our society is built with expectations, moral and cultural standards that restrict our free will as humans to be expressed and those who fail to adhere to this society's rules and order are being criticized, punished and even distance amongst others. Seeing how these have shaped our lives and beliefs, whether we have free wills or not is being asked by many from centuries and in different parts of the world.
Having a freewill for me is the ability and liberty to make decisions and choices, without restrictions, boundaries or even the fear of circumstances.
Freewill in our society today gives you a choice, but not unlimited choices, because there are boundaries to certain behaviors. You cannot break societal law without facing consequences, but regardless of the laws and boundaries, humans still have their choices. We have our choice of career, belief, the choice on how to treat others and be treated, a choice to obey or break society's rules and many other choices .
We have what it takes to make choices , rather than an unlimited choice.
Just imagine a society that gives everyone the liberty to do whatever they choose to do, an unlimited choice without rules and order, chaos will be the order of the day and society will be lawless.
These restrictions and boundaries that are being created give us a restriction to certain actions and create a peaceful society for all.
Without a law, society wouldn't function effectively and adequately .

When our society gives us rules and orders, it's our choice to follow societal standards or not. These is very visible in our society. People have their choices and will, and even when society pressures them to act a certain way, we still exercise our free will in this society, a choice to be good or bad.
For instance, indecent dressing is highly condemned and frowned in my society, but that doesn't put an end to it. We still dress the way we want. There's still a choice to agree and disagree with society's standards , rules and order.
The real issue is that people often confuse free will to the complete and unlimited freedom. Complete freedom and liberty mean living without a restrictions, responsibilities, or consequences.
At the end of the day the capacity to make, meaningful choices within the circumstances we find ourselves in.
Therefore , it absolutely shows that freedom exists alongside responsibility and changes. We may not control every condition of our lives, but we can still decide how to respond to them. Our choices are influenced by society we find ourselves yet they are not entirely dictated by it.
