A single act of kindness to a person, can create a chain of kindness that we might never know about or experience. I have experienced an act of kindness, that made me reciprocate same act of kindness to people. Strangers have showed me kindness, without making me feel ashamed of myself for needing help, I have experienced kindness from people who never announced about their actions of kindness to those outside, and I believe they went ahead after being kind to me without realizing that they just started a chain of kindness, they just influenced me be kind to strangers and treat someone else better.

I have witnessed the kind of kindness that made me felt seen, valued, and made me realized that they are still people out there that show kindness without asking for anything in return. Funny how kindness disappears, we just move on and the only time we can express such kindness to others is bypassing it on to other people. towards you. Being kind is also a way of paying back people for their kind act towards you.So, if I find myself in a situation and someone needs help that I can offer, I will help happily and willingly because a little act of kindness can make a difficult moment easy for someone.
I can vividly remember an act of kindness a stranger showed me when I went for an exam in the east for the first time. As a teenager who could barely navigate her way and intended to travel back to the south on the same day after a busy and unpredictable day. I looked at the time, and it was really late, and I couldn't travel back to the east. While contemplating, I remember a lady preached to me earlier that day and gave me a flier which stated that her church was offering free accommodation for freshers who came from a long distance to write an examination that day and I decided to call the number on the flier.
Immediately, I made the call and told her about my current situation, she asked about my current location and I sent it to her and within few minutes she was at the park, took me to her lodge, accommodated me and I communicated freely with her like we have always known each other. She is a stranger, but that night we bonded as friends effortlessly. It felt really welcoming and wasn't like I was inconveniencing someone.
Accomdating a stranger is something people rarely do and I was even scared of staying with her too, but because I had no choice and was new to the environment, I had to stay with her. She also accommodated me after I got admission until I was allocated to a hostel. Her kindness towards me is something I can never forget easily, she did it freely, without a cost or price, and that is why being kind to other people I found in the same situation years later without expecting anything from them wasn't difficult for me.

Accommodating freshers back in school was an act of kindness I never hesitated to give. I did that quite a number of times, to strangers, neighbors from home and anyone who reaches out. I did it because someone was so kind to treat me with so much kindness during my first time in a university environment and I owe that to others too.
This is a good chain that has helped my life in many ways, I have met strangers who turned out to be friends, introduce me to opportunities and showed kindness to me when I need it too. Just one act of kindness shaped me, made me realize that helping strangers doesn't always turn out bad and it's a good thing to help people.
That moment made me realize how deep our actions affects others, how it shapes the mind of people, so being kind to other might just be a reason for another person to be kind too
One of the ways to show kindness is to keep passing out on to people you meet. Whenever the opportunity knocks, and it's something that can be done effortlessly, it's really important not to ignore that chance to make life easier for a person.
In conclusion, I believe the most beautiful thing about practicing kindness is that one good deed/ action can inspire another and keep passing to different people, until something that started with one person becomes a chain of goodness.
