A Very Budget Friendly Celebration: Knowing Your Needs and Your Wants.

End of the year is that time of the year people spend the most, things get more expensive and it's that time of the year expenses have to be made, it's almost impossible to not spend this period, but it's also possible to spend wisely.
Expenses shouldn't be made without consideration, a plan and a budget.
End of the years come with so much responsibilities, expenses ,expectations and pressure.
If this expenses aren't properly budgeted and managed, this could lead to severe financial crisis and render one broke.
With proper planning, less pressure and budgeting our cost we could celebrate the season without getting financially drained or broke.

Well, considering the economy of my country Nigeria, it's very important to celebrate this Christmas on a budget to avoid being broke the beginning of the upcoming year, especially January, and it's really unfortunate that January can be extremely long, and that's a disadvantage to salary learners.
It's funny how people spend their whole savings from the beginning of the year, on just Christmas and New Year Celebration, I agree, they are worth celebrating, but should be celebrated on a friendly budget.
Most persons forget that life and hustle still continues, it doesn't end after the Christmas celebration.
And they also forget, that the beginning of the year always seems longer, for example January, January is a very long month and if you don't spend wisely, you find yourself being broke the beginning of the next year.

One of tips, I learnt from my parents growing up is writing down things that are more important and eliminating those that aren't important.
And I do this monthly and definitely doing it this holiday celebration.
I refer to it as knowing and separating your needs from wants, that's one of the ways to celebrate on a budget, the truth is that you don't need everything, somethings are necessary, while somethings are unnecessary, one can do without them.
There are some things you can do without, and some that are essentially to us.
While planing to celebrate on a budget, seperate the needs from the wants, doing this will prevent you From being broke after celebrating.
It's important to set your friendly budget and spend wisely to avoid regrets, set priorities right, celebration never ends.

Yesterday, I went to the Market to get some household items and I realized the hike in Price and it's not yet Christmas, one of the best ways to spend on a budget this season in my country, is to buy everything you need before it's December, because marketers take advantage of the celebration seasons to hike and skyrocket prices.
It's very important to not shop late, you shouldn't shop few days to Christmas or new year, if you want to enjoy your Christmas on a budget, because the hike in price will ruin your plan.
Shopping early, would save you From buying goods , twice the actual price.

We could still celebrate on a budget and still feel fulfilled , no pressure or constant need to show up.
Also, travelling isn't compulsory , the cost of traveling would really be much, plus many other expenses.
We could still create happiness with our family, neighbors and friends on a very friendly budget.

Lastly, I'm not always moved by Christmas and new year celebration and I don't pressure myself to do more than I can, my plan for this Christmas is to spend time with family and friends, spend on a budget on my love ones, gift the very important individual in my life, rest as much as I can and reflect about the next year.
