Hello everyone, welcome to my blog, its another edition of the hive learners prompt, First and foremost Happy weekend to you all and merry Christmas in advance, it's not too early to start wishing each other a merry Xmas.

So for this topic this edition, For me, the end of year celebration is very simple and very clear, it is with family, absolutely, there's no long debate, no second thoughts, as the yuletide season draws closer, I find myself craving calm more than any noise, connection more than pressure, and familiar faces more than fancy plans, so this year has been a lot in its own kind of way, and to be honest ending it with family just feels right.

So my plan isn’t some big, over the top celebration, I am not trying to jump from party to party or stress myself out trying to keep up with how other people are celebrating, I have grown to realize that peace is a very underrated luxury, especially during festive periods, so my idea of celebrating the end of the year is spending quality time with my parents, being around my kids, eating good food with my siblings,laughing at random things, and just being present.

There is something comforting about being with family during Christmas and New Year, it takes me back to when celebrations were simple, Back then, you didn’t need much to feel happy, as long as there was food, laughter, and people around you, that was enough, I want to recreate that same feeling now, even if life is more complicated and responsibilities are now heavier.

Most of my time will probably be spent at home, We will cook together, talk about the year, see mostly gist about everything and nothing, and just enjoy each other’s presence, for me I like the idea of waking up without rushing anywhere, wearing simple clothes, eating when I am hungry, and resting when I am tired, there's no pressure, no expectations, just normal vibes and family.

Of course, the kids are a big part of this for me, seeing them happy during the festive season means a lot, I may not have everything figured out, but if they can smile, eat well, and feel loved, then I consider that a win, I am not trying to compete with anyone else’s Christma, I am just trying to create warm memories for them, even if it is something as small as eating together or watching movies at home.

I don’t have any big travel plans or luxury outings planned,If something small comes up and I can take the kids out and that is fine, If not, we will still be okay, I have learned that celebrations don’t have to be expensive to be meaningful, sometimes, just being together under the same roof is more than enough.

Yeah.... so as the year ends, I also want time to reflect, to think about everything that happened, the good, the bad, the lessons, I want to rest, mentally and physically, and prepare myself for the new year ahead, this period feels like a pause button, and I intend to use it well.

So yes, my plan for the yuletide season is family, eating together, laughing together, resting together and ending the year quietly, gratefully, and surrounded by love, No matter how the year went, that’s one thing I am thankful for, the chance to end it with the people who matter most to me.
