[EN/PT-BR] Social media monetization is here to stay!

About monetization of social networks, I believe we have a good point to discuss, after all, this has become the quickest and easiest solution for many people who, like me, have some financial difficulties, living in a country that is not the best, full of corrupt politicians and many taxes. Social networks, whether conventional or Hive, have become an alternative source of income, an escape valve from this complicated and very difficult reality for many people.

Of course, in my opinion, everything must have a great balance and, with that, I believe we can take full advantage of this opportunity, but we must also be wise when using them, as with everything in life. It is insane to see what people do to get attention, whether it is showing their body as a sexual and pleasurable object, getting into risky situations or making fun of many situations that become quite embarrassing. I think this negative side of networks should be avoided, not everything can be about money.

For those who know how to use it, social media has become a great way to do what you already do on a daily basis, such as interacting, giving your opinion, engaging, sharing texts or photos and, with that, earning money to pay the monthly bills. Not only focusing on monetizing the social network, it can be used as a showcase for products or services. My wife, who owns a manicure, pedicure and gel nail salon, has been very present on Instagram, promoting her service and trying to win new clients.

Directly or indirectly, social networks help people to gain resources or clients for their business and this side is super positive, therefore, having this opportunity to gain resources by doing everything online is something that, for me, marks the pinnacle of networks. That's why I don't think we can consider this as something completely negative. It's no secret that clueless people who abuse the most varied situations are a fact, and we've seen a lot of this here at Hive, which would be a way to monetize the social network that's completely different and improved from Web2.

That's why I don't think we should think that monetizing what we share is bad, because of crazy people who do everything and expose everything (focusing even more on the bad things) in search of fame and money. That's not cool at all. There are two things I usually see that make me sick: secondly, the amount of women I see "objectifying" themselves as if they were sexual prizes, goddesses of seduction, wearing tiny clothes, provocative positions and everything else. I think many women fight for exactly the opposite, to gain respect and remove this stigma of being sexual objects.

Finally, first of all, when I see profiles of children, usually under 12 years old, accumulating numerous followers and things like that, whether it is the child themselves or the famous “parent-monitored” profile, I believe that this exposure cannot be used in this way, since sometimes I see these children in swimsuits and bathing suits, which is pure exposure. I think that parents should not take advantage of their children like this and, with this, it is possible, yes, to do something more calm and respectful with their children to gain followers and monetize their channels.

Well, all of this is just the author's opinion, I know that everyone has their own and everyone thinks this or that is beautiful, but social networks are here to stay and all we can do is adapt and take advantage of the good and healthy opportunities that they can give us.

Sobre a monetização das redes sociais, acredito que temos um bom ponto para discutir, afinal, isso se tornou a solução mais rápida e fácil para muitas pessoas que assim como eu, tem algumas dificuldades financeiras, vivendo em um país que não é dos melhores, entupido de políticos corruptos e muitos impostos. As redes sociais, sejam elas as convencionais ou a Hive, se tornaram uma fonte de renda alternativa, uma válvula de escape desta realidade complicada e muito difícil para muitas pessoas.

Claro que, na minha opinião, tudo deve ter um grande equilíbrio e, com isso, acredito que podemos aproveitar e muito essa oportunidade, mas que também devemos ter sabedoria ao utilizar elas, como tudo na vida. É insano ver o que as pessoas fazem para chamar a atenção, seja mostrando o seu corpo como um objeto sexual e prazeroso, se metendo em situações arriscadas ou fazendo deboche de muitas situações que se tornam algo bem constrangedor, acho que esse lado negativo das redes deve ser evitado, nem tudo pode ser pelo dinheiro.

Para aqueles que sabem utilizar ela, as redes sociais se tornaram um grande atrativo para fazer aquilo que você já faz diariamente, como interagir, dar a sua opinião, engajar, compartilhar textos ou fotos e, com isso, conseguir dinheiro para pagar as contas do mês. Não focando somente em monetizar a rede social, a mesma pode ser utilizada como uma vitrine para produtos ou serviços. Minha esposa, que é dona de um salão de manicure, pedicure e aplicação de unhas de gel, tem marcado presença forte no Instagram, divulgando o seu serviço e tentando conquistar novas clientes.

Direta ou indiretamente, as redes sociais auxiliam as pessoas a conquistar recursos ou clientes para o seu negócio e esse lado é super positivo, portanto, ter essa oportunidade de conquistar recursos fazendo tudo online é algo que, para mim, marca o ápice das redes. Por isso, acho que não podemos considerar isso com algo totalmente negativo, pessoas sem noção e que abusam das mais variadas situações não é segredo para ninguém, inclusive, temos visto muito disso aqui na Hive, que seria uma forma de monetizar a rede social totalmente diferente e melhorada da web2.

Por isso, acho que não devemos julgar que monetizar o que compartilhamos seja ruim, por conta de pessoas malucas, que fazem de tudo e expõem de tudo (focando ainda mais no que não presta) em busca da fama e do dinheiro. Isso não é nada legal. Têm duas coisas que costumo ver que me deixam enojado: em segundo lugar, a quantidade de mulheres que vejo se “objetificando” como se fossem prêmios sexuais, deusas da sedução, utilizando roupas minúsculas, posições provocantes e tudo mais. Acho que muitas mulheres lutam justamente pelo contrário, para ganhar o respeito e tirar esse estigma de objetos sexuais.

Por fim, em primeiro lugar, quando vejo perfis de crianças, geralmente menores de 12 anos, acumulando inúmeros seguidores e coisas do tipo, seja a própria criança ou o famoso “monitorado pelos pais”, acredito que essa exposição não pode ser utilizada dessa forma, em vista que às vezes aparece para mim, essas crianças em trajes e roupas de banho que é pura exposição. Acho que os pais não deveriam se aproveitar de seus filhos assim e, com isso, é possível, sim, fazer algo mais tranquilo e respeitoso com os seus filhos para conseguirem seguidores e monetizar seus canais.

Bem, isso tudo é somente a opinião do autor, sei que cada um tem a sua e cada um acha isso ou aquilo bonito, mas as redes sociais vieram para ficar e tudo o que podemos fazer é nos adaptar e aproveitar as oportunidades boas e sadias que elas podem nos dar.
