[EN/PT-BR] Holidays at Home: Hive, series, anime and lots of games!

Vacation is the period that many of us, suffering and tired workers, wait for to be able to rest and do many things that we normally cannot do during our work period, which extends for months, many times. So, when this time of rest comes, all options are valid, we can just stay home and binge-watch series and anime, play on the computer all day, spend the day on Hive or other social networks, travel somewhere, in short, there are many things we can do and it all depends on what each person chooses.

This year, traveling is a bit complicated, things have gotten tight because of the apartment payment, among other things, but maybe we will go to Maranhão, a state in the northeast region of Brazil. My wife has some relatives there and, since last year we went to Bahia, this time it would be in this new state, full of beautiful things like the Lençóis Maranhenses. Of course, nothing is confirmed and, since everything has gotten more expensive here in Brazil lately, even plane tickets have become somewhat complicated to buy, but we'll see.

Since I've never been one to travel (I've told this story many times, last year in Bahia was my first time), for me, spending the holidays at home relaxing might be the best option. Of course, I'm not going to sit around doing nothing for 30 days, so staying at Hive and playing a lot of the games I like is a strong option! I'm a real nerd and I love it, for me there's nothing better than staying at home and doing what I like to do: engaging, posting, watching series and anime, playing games and obviously also spending more time with my family, trying to get even closer to my children.

Therefore, vacations are an important topic for people, it is a time to relax, try to do something different from everyday life, but that does not mean that staying at home or in your own city is bad. I have seen a lot of people talking about me, calling me many unpleasant things because I do not travel on vacation and I prefer to stay at home. Well, as far as I know, no one is forced to travel, right? There is no law that says that employees have to travel during their vacation period, so I just do what I like and that's it.

There are other variables too, for example, my wife likes to travel and leave the house more, unfortunately we don't get along well on this. She likes to be out and about more and I like to stay at home, so this is something we have to talk about a lot and I have to be very patient with, because it's not easy when my vacation comes around because of this. But I really don't think we're going to go out this year, there are a lot of things to pay for, a lot of bills to pay, so my budget doesn't have room for travel, although I would like to go out again to another state in this huge Brazil.

So that's it, for me, vacations are a time of rest and relaxation, but in my own way, since I really like to stay on my computer and stay up to date with everything, I can say that I never turn it off, but we'll see, when the month of my vacation comes, we'll see what I'll do and how it'll be. In any case, if I stay at home, it's Hive for sure!

Férias são o período que muito de nós, trabalhadores sofridos e cansados, esperamos para poder descansar e fazer muitas coisas que normalmente não podemos fazer em nosso período de trabalho, que se estende por meses, muitas das vezes. Então, quando chega este momento de descanso, todas as opções são válidas, podemos somente ficar em casa e fazer aquela maratona em séries e animes, jogar no computador o dia inteiro, passar o dia na Hive ou em outras redes sociais, viajar para algum lugar, enfim, tem muitas coisas que podemos fazer e tudo isso depende do que cada um irá escolher.

Este ano para viajar está um pouco complicado, as coisas apertaram por conta do pagamento do apartamento, além de outras coisas, mas talvez iremos para o Maranhão, um estado na região nordeste aqui do Brasil. Minha esposa tem alguns familiares lá e, como ano passado fomos para a Bahia, agora seria neste novo estado, repleto de coisas bonitas como os lençóis maranhenses. Claro que nada está confirmado e, como ultimamente aqui no Brasil tudo encareceu, até mesmo as passagens de avião se tornaram algo complicado de adquirir, mas vamos ver.

Como nunca fui de viajar (contei muitas vezes essa história, ano passado na Bahia foi a minha primeira vez em tudo), por mim, passar as férias em casa descansando pode ser a melhor opção, claro que não vou ficar parado sem fazer nada 30 dias, então, ficar na Hive e jogar bastante meus jogos que gosto, são uma forte opção! Sou nerd mesmo e amo isso, para mim não tem coisa melhor do que ficar em casa e fazer o que gosto de fazer: engajar, postar, ver séries e animes, jogar e obviamente também, passar mais tempo com a minha família, tentar me aproximar mais ainda dos meus filhos.

Dessa forma, as férias são um tópico importante para as pessoas, é um período de relaxar, tentar fazer algo diferente do cotidiano, mas isso não quer dizer que ficar em casa ou na sua própria cidade seja ruim. Já vi muita gente falar de mim, me chamando de muitas coisas desagradáveis porque eu não viajo nas férias e tenho a preferência de ficar em casa. Bem, até onde sei, ninguém é obrigado a viajar, não é mesmo? Não existe nenhuma lei que diga que o funcionário tem que viajar em seu período de férias, então somente faço o que gosto e ponto final.

Existem outras variáveis também, por exemplo, a minha esposa que já gosta mais de viajar e sair de casa, nisso infelizmente a gente não se entende bem, ela gosta mais da rua e eu de ficar em casa, então é um ponto que temos que conversar bastante e eu ter bastante paciência, porque não é fácil quando chegam minhas férias por isso. Mas acredito que realmente não iremos sair esse ano, têm muita coisa para pagar, muita conta para segurar, então no meu orçamento não tem espaço para viagens, apesar de que até eu gostaria de sair novamente para outro estado deste Brasil enorme.

Então é isso, para mim as férias são um período de descanso e de relaxamento, mas da minha maneira, como gosto muito de ficar no meu computador e ficar antenado em tudo, posso dizer que nunca desligo, mas vamos ver, quando chegar o mês das minhas férias, vamos ver o que irei fazer e como vai ser. De qualquer maneira, se ficar em casa, é Hive com certeza!
