You are right; people should be allowed to accept or reject medical advice/treatment. I had nasty experience few years ago; I went for medical checks and ended up taking injection. I couldn't walk after taking the injection for weeks; though I can walk now, my walk isn't perfect. Now, I have phobia for injection; I believe the nurse who did it didn't get it right. The medical director (who is a personal friend), couldn't hide his anger but didn't reprimand the nurse in the public .... but I strongly believe she was rebuked privately. Some people have resorted to herbal and natural remedies because of nasty experiences ...... it's hard to blame them
