This article sis basically about Friendship and the things related to friendships. So let's see more about friendships.

Friendship is not always about how well you know someone or how well a person knows you but it sometimes depends on how close you are to a person. A Person may be part of your Family but may not really be your friend and their might not be the existence of friendship between you and that person. This is as a result of not being closely attached to that person. Closeness and Friendship are likened together. They work together.

As far as there is This Close attachment to a particular person, Friendship can go to any extent. It can go beyond just people from the same tribe, religion or even skin colour. As long as the two persons involved are too close to each and develops this strong relationship, friendship can be formed.
I am a Nigerian but then, I have friends who are Canadians, we know each other so well, we are too close, we are not family but the relationship is so Strong. That is what is called friendship.

What about Difference in Beliefs or Ideas?

Well, we all are humans and we have different Beliefs and are ideas to a lot of things, but what about it when it comes to Friendships?
Friendship is not necessarily based on beliefs and ideas, NO! As Humans we have our own opinions or ideas regarding a particular thing be it Celebration, Culture or even Events. Friendship is Based on Closeness to each other and not on each other's ideas or beliefs.
Ending a Friendship just because you both do not agree on a Belief or Idea doesn't really seem that you two are Friends.

In Nigeria here, there are some beliefs and ideas that we have, that other countries do not Entertain, So if my Canadian friend should base our friendship on things common between us, it would be difficult for us to be friends. Friendship does not need to Ended due to difference in Beliefs and Ideas as we all have our own personal reservations and Boundaries too.

Tolerance in Difference in Opinion and Ideas in a Friendship!

Humans do make mistakes and sometimes, these mistakes do cause a lot of harm too. So, while having in mind that we have differences in our opinions, Beliefs and Ideas, we would need to know things we should do and things we do not need to do regarding our Opinions and Ideas while in a Friendship with someone.

In as much as we can tolerate a lot of things from our friends, we on the other hand do not need to make it hard for our friends. In as much as we are Reasonable to the kind of things we say to our friends, how we do things and the way we react to what they say, we should also be flexible while dealing with our friends.

Understanding your Friend makes it easier for you to be able to be open and more tolerant to him or her regarding the difference in Opinions and Ideas too. This is Because when we Understand them, it's easier for us (the two involved) to iron the opinions and ideas out to be able to make a better decision.

Summary

Friendship is one of the Great Things that can ever be upheld and it is important not to Break the friendship due to difference in Beliefs, Opinions or even ideas. When friends love themselves, trust themselves and also understands themselves, they would be more open and to each other and also be in a better position to tolerate one another.

If you are in a Friendship already with someone, please do not let Some differences to break your friendship apart. Always try to Understand your friend and you will see how strong the relationship you will with them would be.
