Love knows no age

Today's prompt says "Age is just a number," so let's get into those details and see my ideas about this prompt.

Well, age has nothing to do with two people who are in love because the heart chooses who it wants, so why should age be stopping them from experiencing love together?

To me, I see nothing wrong with one person being older than the other one in the relationship because, when it comes to relationships, we can't deny what we feel for someone unless the love is not strong between them.

Back then when I was in Laspotech, witnessed something like this: the girl was older while the guy was young. They didn't know before falling in love with each other, but some months later the guy finds out that his girlfriend is two years older than him, so he withdraws from the relationship.

He was concerned about what people would say and how his friends would reach him if they found out that his girlfriend was older than him.

They broke up, and after that, he went for a younger girl in another department, he fell into the wrong hands because this young girl was just playing with his heart because she wasn't ready to be in any serious relationship.

I found out about the matter under the tree where I and my boyfriend then, who is now my husband, used to sit to take fresh air before lectures.

The older girl came to meet her friends there, and she was crying while explaining the issue to her friends, and that was what got our attention.

She didn't hide the fact that she was in love with the guy, so she asked people's opinions under the try. Well, I told her I wouldn't give up on him if I was in her shoes because my heart wanted him.

We went on holiday, and by the time we resumed, the guy and the young girl had broken up during the holiday. He told his friends that she had so many boyfriends, and he happened to be one of them.

A week after we resumed, he came back, begging his older ex-girlfriend to take him back because he knew the girl was in love with him. That was when everyone in the class knew something was going on between them.

Meanwhile, some judged the girls for being older, but the majority of the class supported them, so they got back together, and now I saw their wedding pictures on Facebook with two kids. Which means they are happily married now.

Sometimes age is nothing when you are in love because it is just a number; meanwhile, if you don't tell people, nobody would know, so why hold back? I am not against it when someone is older in a relationship because it is love that matters and not the age gap, though it must not be too much as well.

So love should always be considered instead of age.
