My holidays were filled with fun and stress.

Christmas and the new year are just like celebrating something very big in our place. I mean, we take it very seriously. Since it comes just once a year, we make sure we do everything we need to do and do it well.

On my side, both Christmas and the year are so enjoyable for me; in fact, I feel like the holidays should not finish because I'm always enjoying myself whenever I'm home.

Just that the work I used to do is always tiring, when I got home for the holidays, it was a day to Christmas day, and I did it like that because I didn't want to spend more money on my siblings at home, even though I spent more while coming from traveling.
It's more like they put aside a lot of work for me to do when I got home.

Getting home, I started my work by fixing the necessary things at home. Sometimes, when they know that you have some hidden talent, they want to take advantage of it, because that's what I'm seeing. Well, just kidding.

I fixed all the wall brackets in my house. This is because when it's holiday season, we used to have visitors, and we have been procrastinating to fix it all this time just because we need it more this season. So I ended up fixing them all without collecting a penny. Just imagine that I'm working for free at home.

After doing all that, I thought it'd be over until my sister called me to come and drive her to the market because we needed to buy meat and other stuff. I wanted to cry, but I didn't have any choice, so I drove her to the market, but believe me sincerely, I worked throughout that day in the market. Just from one place to another. She said things are so expensive that we need to keep searching for the less expensive ones.

At some point, I felt like crying. How can we go to the market in the morning and come back late in the evening? If you follow a lady to the market, you just have to be patient. Holidays are for enjoying and resting, but mine was in another dimension. We came back home and did lots of work. Well, they will not call me to the work that fits in for ladies because there are lots of ladies at home.
Apart from the fact that I worked so well when I came home for my holidays, I also enjoyed everything. I took my siblings out for fun, and we all enjoyed ourselves. I meet all my expectations; there's nothing to be hard about or to be removed from my holidays. If it's possible that I don't work at all, I would like to remove that aspect. But then I don't think it's possible.
So after cooking all the food, we did it the way we used to do it. By giving it out to all our neighbors, family, and friends. Besides, we also have people who came around to celebrate with us for days. Throughout my stay at home, I ate lots of meat and lots of chicken. Presently, I'm getting fat.
If possible, we can continue the holidays. I would not mind. This is how I spent my holidays. Thanks for stopping by. Have a nice day.
