My Simple Bucket List for a Different Year

I totally love the three prompts chosen for this week, they are felt like they were created for me to connect deeply to myself like my journal and recent thoughts had been about. So yeah, I'm excited about this particular prompt too, it does have a word I've never really thought about or use often, "Bucket List" but I've heard a lot about it.

Honestly, when I think of "Bucket list", my mind goes to goals like, "I want to own a car, I want to build my own house, I want to travel the world, I want to be so wealthy and popular" but experiences in life has taught me better to understand that bucket lists can be made for everyday life or simply to have a lifestyle ongoing.

Like I've shared before, this year is a year I have decided to stop almost everything I do usually in the past years and do things differently because I'm definitely having a better and different story to tell at the end of the year. Same process can't bring a different result so I'm not letting that repeat itself again, new processes have started.

Thanks to this week's prompt, I'm breaking down my year's goal into these three for my bucket list. They are bigger than they seem but I've studied enough to know that they only get bigger from daily and consistent showing up actions intentionally. Here are the top 3 on my bucket list.

A steady growing relationship.

I recently learnt something amazing in identifying with Christ, I honestly want to go deeper in learning about God in every beautiful way I can. Building a relationship with God is a foundation I believe will lead me into healthier relationships with humans and myself. One thing with having a goal that would succeed is having very practical daily actions to achieve it, for this goal, I want to study the Bible more and spend time with people more. That way, I can understand God's mind for me, relate with people better from experience and in turn, I'll understand my character more.

A steady self-care routine.

My whole body needs love and care, I plan to slow down and actually worry about every part of my body in making sure that no part of me is neglected or suffering. My hair, I've got a routine for it, my skin, there's a routine, my face, a routine for it and my hands/legs would get the care the deserve too. Since I started small routines for my body, I realize how much love I feel from within and it helps me go through my days in better mood with no much worries or need to worry.

A growing skill-set.

I need money, just like everyone else, because that's how I'll pay my bills and achieve a better self-care routine while caring for my family and any one in need around me. So yeah, I'm prioritising my skill-set by learning new skills, creating new hobbies and improving on the ones I know to earn money from them. The process is demanding since I tried to focus on this but it's been fulfilling to realize the things I can actually do and learn the things I have interest in to try.
