My Phone: The Tool That Powers My Online Work

This prompt reminded me once again that I'm jobless, just a lady trying to get the little she can from writing online and thanks to Hive for the opportunity. I'm still hoping to acquire a good job and better skills in the nearest future to increase my stream of income but for now, Hive is my work place and if I'll say just one tool, my phone.

I remember I started Hive with a phone that kept lagging, everything was so slow but somehow I kept showing up on Hive because I knew just how much I would lose if I kept away from Hive, it was my source of earning and expenses were building up. In my second year on Hive, I got the phone I'm using now with my money from Hive.

Upgrading my phone from a lagging one to a faster one tells a lot just how much importance the use of the phone holds in helping me keep up with my work of writing on Hive. It also improved my video quality which made me explore making music covers, this part has earned me more money than I had expected at the time I started.

My typical day is mainly me and my phone, keeping my streak on Hive while trying to earn some money and explore more opportunities online to increase my earning sources. So my major work tool presently is my mobile phone. There are countless things that assist me in my work but most of them are found in the phone.

I do jealous people who have more physical and other kinds of items that acts as the main tool of their work like the photographers who would say it's their camera or the chefs who would say it's their kitchen tools, it's amazing but when I think again, I have all that also in my phone and I know and do a little of everything else aside writing.

How will the absence of my phone affect my productivity? I can not even emphasise enough just how unproductive I'll become without my phone. It's one of my fears now that I've been thinking more of opportunities I want to explore and can't keep my phone out of it. I'm still finding ways to gain something productive aside phone.

I believe there are more things I can do without using my phone but my work presently? I can not do anything if I don't have my phone, it's why I've unconsciously prepared back up plans whenever it happens unexpectedly that I'll have to go on days or weeks without a phone like it happened some time back when it was with a repairman.

As simple as my work may seem and as easily as my phone could support my work, I can only imagine how chaotic it would be not to have my phone, the one tool that supports my work. It's actually the one tool that's my work, my phone is just as important as the work is for me. I need it to get things done, my phone is my work lifeline.
