Facing War Without a Plan, But Not Alone

It's a scary prompt really, one that I have never really thought of in all my thinking and desires to grow in life. I've never imagined having to be on a run to save my life and that of my family in a country that once felt safe enough for me not to run for my life. I know some parts of the country are already facing this somehow and it is scary.

I've only read of wars in books or seen it in movies, I've never really tried to imagine how devastating or scary it will actually be to be present in a war zone fighting to come out of it alive. Honestly, I wish I won't need to answer this prompt and just kneel to pray to God that such a thing never happen because I have got no plan.

But just in case!
At a worst scenario!
War breaks out... I'd be super clueless what to do in the first minutes into the war. I suppose, the news about the war outbreak will be everywhere before it actually does but if that were not the case here, it would be double of my clueless self going around with my family trying to get safety.

There's absolutely no way I'd be opting in to join the army as a way of being a good citizen to save my family, I don't even see how that would save them. Mind you, it is not that I know how exactly I'll save myself and family when I don't join the army but I feel it's way better to be with my family till the last moment should incase it all goes bad.

My focus will definitely be on getting my family to somewhere safe, I believe my family will also have that as a priority so we would brainstorm together to provide the amount of safety we can come up with and flee from the war zones or hide safely to not get killed in the war. I can picture us go from clueless to frightened to building safety.

There are no specific actions or measures I can share right now that I'll take to help my family survive but one thing I know for sure is, we would stick together as a family all the way. I've never been a fan of movie stories where they all go separate ways in hopes of being safe at last, many lose their lives that way. But we could stick together and play safe till it ends or we run away.
