Why I Said Goodbye to Gambling Forever

Hello, Hive Learners community. I'm writing on this week's prompt, risk. Risk is actually something you have to be daring to do. It can have bad results or good ones, depending on how you approach it.

The risk I would be sharing which was daring was using my school fees to gamble during my second semester in school I needed money urgently and whether it paid off then or not I be sharing.

I used to gamble back then before Hive changed my life around not I think I wrote a post of it if you do a serious scrolling of the beginning of this year anyway back to the main topic just as I mentioned I do bet a lot anyway people usually says betting is not good it true it was not good and also sometimes it game of luck you might actually win or lose it a 50/50 chance you either lose or win.

During then I needed a new phone and also needed to pay my school fees I had to think of how to kill two birds with one stone just as the saying goes cause in school you have to have a phone and my phone was bad it was not even manageable to use at that time.

I had received my school fees and I decided it one time a man died in a game called ###Aviator### which so many of you know have if you are to bet N10 naira on it and the plane had to fly to 2:00 you received twice the money you bet to can see how charming and tricky the game was the idea is whatever money you put your get several times of it depending on what number the plane flys towards.

I was tempted to play then even tho I knew the high risk of it if the plane crashed without reaching my point of target am screwed I will lose everything I staked on the game.

Then my school fees were N75,000 naira I was ready to accept my fate of whatever outcome it may be I had to stake it Oh god Help me my heart was shaking a lot then the outcome was bad j lost all the whole money I entered freeze mode meaning I almost fainted after losing my school fees to gambling deadline was about a week how would I go about it.

It was then serious thinking came to my head I had another risk something to get my money but I hoped I didn't fall into the hands of a scammer like I was a gamer I played Lords mobile game I had to sell my account then I had an old friend I told him I wanted to sell my account he helped me out I was afraid of losing my money in case he sold it and never gave me back that thought came to my mind he was abroad so he usually helps me sell account and I received my pay in Binance after securing the account he sold it but it took me about 4 days to receive the pay then dollar rate was high I sold my account for about 100 dollars I was so happy I received twice the money and extra I quickly rushed to make my payment of school fees and had to use the other to get myself a new phone now I was happy.

Same time I decided to quit foolish gambling to the extent that I don't allow someone to use my phone to check live scores or anything related to gambling Hove now has only become my source of sustaining and am okay and contended with it.

I think I learned my lesson say no to gambling.
