The World Is Breaking. Is It Right To Bring More Kids Into It?

I think I very well understand why this question pops up, considering all what we are facing at a time like this. There's the issue of insecurity, kidnappings, high cost of living, hunger, and many more ill in our society today. And looking at all of that, it is not bad of anyone to think of not even bringing another child into this world. A lot of us are not happy with the world is going, so why bring another being into it to experience that which you're experiencing.

The World Is Breaking. Is It Right To Bring More Kids Into It?

I remember telling a friend sometimes last week that I feel for those who are in school at a time like this. I knew what I experienced back when I was in school, I know how hard it was, and I know things are five times worse now. Now, what would those who are just coming up, or those who will still come to the world say or meet.

Despite all, I feel there's nothing wrong with continuing to have babies, if we decide to stop, then it just means humans will have to go extinct if we decide to stop. Also, we can't stop because if they had stopped having babies too in the 1700s or so, then most of this inventions and the things that are making life easy won't even exist, in such we wouldn't even exist talk less of all of that these doctors, engineers, inventors and many more than are helping to create solutions to the problems of the world.

What I would rather suggest is that, the government or whatever body should make a law that gives each parent a maximum number of children they can have. Maybe just two. Even if you have the capabilities of really taking care of ten, the law should still apply to you. We are growing, the populations of the world is increasing and if we don't caution ourselves and keep on doing it the way we feel like, believe me things will become more tighter than it is already.

Amd I'm not saying a minimum of two children is ok for each family because I don't like babies or because they are a burden, not at all, I love kids so much, so it's not so easy to say, but then we should think long term and understand that the world resources are reducing. Things are still this way and we're already in a mess, there's insecurity, economic hardship, unemployment and many more, yet we want to keep having babies as we like.

Like I said earlier, there should be a guiding and well implemented rule, because we can't keep on going this way. We need to consider the future we want those children we are bringing into the world to inherit too. The goal shouldn't be to have may children, but to have and raise few responsible ones who will contribute to the growth of the universe.

So, for me, it is okay and ethical to keep giving birth to young ones, but it should be done with caution.
