I am one to always love adventure, the thought of this topic made my heart thump before giving me the chills. If anything, I would love to travel to another country on a power bike. Unfortunately this isn’t my reality because I do not have a power bike nor do I know how to ride one. But if I can learn to ride a power bike, own one and have the financial backing to go for a cross country adventure. This of course would mean I do not have to worry about my family which I think will be a huge deciding factor on whether I can travel or not. I can imagine my mum telling me every single reason why the journey is dangerous or my sister trying to convince me otherwise. They already know I am a brick after I have made a decision, because for me as long as I am certain they will lack nothing while I am off and even if I do not return, then I am very okay.

I will be brutally honest with myself, such a journey is very risky, there is a very big probability that I will not return especially considering the level of insecurity not just in my country but in other countries of the world. For example travelling past some Arabic countries will be very risky this period, I will need to go through my geology to understand the typography of my country and where I am going to. Also If I ever get the chance, I am not sure I would want to visit just one country, I would love to visit a good number of countries in Africa, Europe and Asia. I mean that would be one hell of an adventure. Although I would not do this for the most part of my life, a year or two of travelling will be a memory I will carry for the rest of my life if I do come back from it. The thrill of seeing different countries' traditions and beliefs, tasting some local and intercontinental dishes, learning new things and seeing the world from a totally new perspective is something I can only wish for.

It’s a different ball game if I get to make these trips on a bike, I will be able to move at my own pace, and pick up real life survival skills. I might have to camp a lot of the time sleeping outdoors and hoping I do not meet a wild animal. But I will also get to meet the real people of every country I visit. I mean when you travel by plane you can hardly know people because everyone there might be just minding their business. In fact you might meet more foreigners like yourself and the locals might find you inferior or vice versa. But meeting them on a bike makes it more fun, you get to really know them and understand a lot no matter how much time that is spent. I like watching tourists on bikes do this a lot, I see the struggle and the thrill that goes with it, and if I can, I would want to experience it also.
