There are a long list of things we all wish we could try at least once in our lifetime. For me, it is skydiving. This is because I want to experience a near feeling of death. Of course I don't want to die now, and I have had some near death experiences, but they were unplanned for and thus weren't fun at all. I'm very adventurous and wild, I like to take risks although calculated, I love the feeling of knowing something is on the line and thus I need to keep going. Please don't find me weird, I've just always been like that. I remember breaking my phone screen one time I was trying out a wrestling move, thank goodness it was just the screen that broke and no important household equipment unless I would have been in hot soup 😂.
I strongly agree with the notion that there are things everyone should try out at least once in a lifetime, I also understand that not everyone is like me who likes to take risks and make bad decisions, there are those who won't try until they are 100% sure it's safe. I remember a time when I felt like holding onto a street power line to see the outcome 😂. But then something told me that since we have an epileptic power supply, it could only result in two things. If there's no current, nothing might happen, but if there is, I wouldn't be aware of what would happen. Truthfully, the only thing that made me not do it is the realization that I would not be aware of the next thing that would occur if there was a current in that line. Although part of me was scared as I just heard a story of a co-worker who was electrocuted because he was working on a billboard without protective wear and mistakenly touched a power line with current in it.
I also watched a recent interview of a young man who said he was trying to fix a fallen umbrella when the head of the umbrella touched a power line and was electrocuted. Although he lived, he lost both his legs in the process. So yeah these are just examples of unsafe things some of us could wish for, but then again, there are things that if we wish for or experience could benefit us and change our perspective about life. One of such things is travelling to another country. I strongly believe that we are only as knowledgeable as the things we know, the things we don't know are numerous and would only benefit us if we are open to learning them. There are ways we do things and get results without realizing or even knowing that there are better ways to improve on the things we thought we knew.

I've been to quite a number of states within my country, and it's sad to say that a lot of people are very naive, especially in their ways of reasoning. Most of them think that the way things are with them is how things are in every other part of the world. But as my mum would say, unknowingly to them, they are local championships. In this 21st century and especially in the digital age, I feel people should travel outside their country, not because they can't learn new things from the comfort of their house, but because there is a whole new world outside their comfort zone that is waiting for them to explore. Learning new cultures and traditions, trying out other delicacies, and meeting people with different mentality to show you your level of growth in life. I feel life is best lived, when it is explored.
