HOW EASY IS IT?

I do not agree 100% that AI and technology as a whole makes us lazy. I used to believe it some time ago, but a friend of mine made me change my narrative. Of course people tend to be lazy at the first sight of comfort, it would suddenly become as if for every struggle and every pain you’ve gone through the heavens are finally giving you rest and when you experience that rest, you would not want to shy away from it. Rest can be tempting, so much that even the best of us can not resist it, but then again, if you look closer we might no longer be flexing our muscles, but be flexing our brain instead. When we see AI for what it truly is we will understand that its intention is to make us evolve and not be lazy and whether we like it or not, we are all evolving and would continue to do so as long as technology keeps evolving. If you doubt how much we have evolved, think about how easy it is for our parents and grandparents to understand technology and the use of AI.

Why do you think we call them old school, it’s simply because they never kept up with technology and now it has left them behind. Technology is ever evolving, some of the things that we see today could have never been thought of 10 to 20 years ago. We are where we are now not because we are lazy but because we have become smarter. And the smarter we become the lazier our muscles become as the idea is to find smarter ways of doing things. Even the AI we talk about, how many of us really know how to use it, if it were that easy, why is everyone not using AI, why has everyone not learned it, only those who are smart enough can really learn it and understand it to the fullest. I use chat gpt, but we all know that is just elementary if we should really talk about Artificial intelligence. And even the chat gpt that is very popular, how many of us can create exact prompts for the AI to fully grasp our intent. It’s not easy to even understand it, and when those who have understood it practise it very easily you call them lazy.

The people who would lose their jobs to AI are the real lazy ones, because we are in a time where strength is not defined by how much you do, but by how much you can do with time. It’s not about having a masters degree, it’s about being able to find solutions to multiple problems the human brain can not keep up with per time. This is why at the end of the day, only those who can use the tools provided by AI can really make it in this age. Even on hive, those who use AI to write are lazy because they use it wrongly. They have the idea that AI is there to do their work for them so they don’t have to do it, but in the real sense, AI came to help them think smarter so they can think outside the box. Today I write scripts with AI, but have become more proficient in my work. AI helps me relate with my ideas and helps me make better plots and twists, not writing it from scratch for me. A friend of mine saw my scripts with AI and tried to copy me by using AI only to end up with rubbish. This just shows how two people make use of the same tool and get different results.
