HAVING A CLONE

The idea of having a clone is intriguing, you know. A clone, not a twin. It is intriguing because the idea of a clone is something you can control and feel every activity it does. It’s an extension of you that helps you do everything you do as though you are there without feeling the strain. This is something that would change the world if it is possible. You would be able to take risks you would not normally take because you know it isn’t your real body and thus there will be no fear of death. And If it is something like a regenerative clone, you would be able to just regenerate if anything happens to your clone. The idea is fascinating and intriguing, but at the end of the day it is just fantasy. But what if it wasn’t just fantasy, what if it was real, what if I could really do it. Menh there will be a lot of things I will do with my clone that I can’t do at the moment.

Imagine going to work but not going to work. My clone can do the heavy lifting while I reap the fruit of my labour, or I could be working with two companies at the same time and multiple streams of income will no longer look like a dream for me. Since I can be in more than two places at the same time and do things exactly as I would have done them regardless, it will be easy for me to multitask at a very high rate. But then again there are side effects to this and the major side effect will be in my mental capacity and how many clones I can control at a time. The idea will now be working to increase my mental capacity to a very high degree so that I do not feel the strain of controlling two bodies at a time. The fact that it is a clone means you have to control it somehow, even if it has a mind of its own and can think and do things exactly like me. The mental strength that gives me control needs to be strong because with every great power comes an even greater backlash. This is not a speculation, it is just how the world works…

But then again, what I would not want is for human cloning to be a normal thing, it will cause a lot of havoc and make people lose control. Not because anyone is trying to control anyone, but because almost everyone would be thinking like me. Imagine marrying someone and you realize you have been married to the clone of the person and not the person and the actual person is married to someone else and even has a family and you also have a family with this person which means your kids are from a clone… I won’t be surprised if two clones marry and give birth to cloned babies. I mean there has to be a limit to such power right because if this is it, then the world better not have it. The world is already corrupted as it stands, this kind of invention will only make things worse.
