Wow, this topic is so interesting to the extent, i began to have flash backs, I loved games ever since i was a boy and became an adult, I must say i had addiction for games as a boy but first i will like to elaborate more what the word addiction really means, i will be given the definition in my next section post below.

Addiction this is an act of being addicted to something or anything activity, It could be drugs, it could be sexual activity it could be stealing too and there are also some really good addiction like been addicted to given, Being addicted to music and being addicted to helping the helpless one's. You can see it is not all addiction that's bad, I have seen so many loose assets all in the name of games they are addicted to playing.

When i was a little boy i would always go to play games at the game shop at that time i will always use my my money which i was meant to use and get food, I will use it to go play games at the game centers then but i could remember, I played those games for fun and joy not like i was addicted or some thing. Growing up getting into college, I will always see my friends in class.
Always the break time they would gather in a hidden spot to gamble and win each other's money i was not part of them but they will do it everyday they were sure addicted to that rolling of dice and playing of cards. All i did was watch how they gambled get ripped and fight each other, I sure knew this boys were addicted because after school they will still roll a dice and myself i detested gamble it was not for me.
There was once a time in my life when i was a O'level student, I will always play PS3 every day of my life, I will be playing from 12noon to 6pm it was not even mine it was a game shop. I had to stop because i noticed it is becoming an addictive thing and behold i did stop going there and the game addiction didn't catch up on me, I was free from it up on till now i play PS3 games when am less busy and go back to important stuffs.
But then, there are also games that pay their players. Once money becomes involved, will the addiction still be a bad thing? Tell us what you feel.
Addiction generally is not really good when someone is addicted to something too much it is not good,Now the question said if money was involved is it still considered a bad thing? YES, It is a bad thing because when money is involved it becomes a bet or a gamble and when money is involved things tend to go out of hands so yes if money is involved it is definitely bad.
I still remember in childhood was also used to go in Game center spend pocket money to play game and fear of getting caught by parents
And once i Got caught than after years being an adult i realised they stopped me from going in game center so i don't get addicted to it and destroy my future
I see lot's of my friends gambling even invited me but never ever fell in trap
Even if money is involved than it doesn't matter addiction is bad and will always effect in our real life!.

You have spoken well @idksamad78699 my friend the truth be said too much engagement in an activity is addiction.
The first step to overcoming an addiction is usually by first admitting to yourself that you are addicted and it needs to be stopped. Then you will be able to find the strength to fight the urge.

Lol @adoore-eu I really did that though 12 to 6 was really me then but i have outgrown it and realized i was actually falling into addiction.
I totally agree with you. addiction is better directed to the positive than to the negative so that he can benefit from what he is doing.

Addiction is not a normal act....You have to minimize time spent on games to prevent being addicted, it is bad and nothing can change the fact that it is bad, accept the fact and there will be a solution 💕thanks for your sharing this my friend 💪
