Education is called the backbone of a nation, and the prosperity of a nation is dependent on it. People are very serious about education in the present time, but the key role player related to education is the teacher. Teaching is known as the most honorable profession, and teachers are the ones who shape the future generation and prepare them to face the world. Naturally, teachers teach in school, but does it mean they should not have any influence on students after students leave the school?
What is the most important task of a teacher? Obviously, it's teaching the students. T-shirt lessons are related to the book, and that seems to be the most important responsibility of a teacher on the surface. But teaching does not only mean that the teacher's responsibility is to teach students from textbooks. It should be wider than it is, and sharing the textual knowledge is only a part of it. It is the responsibility of a teacher also to share the knowledge about real-life experiences and struggles. Helping students get a certificate is not the responsibility of a teacher. In fact, making students capable of facing the real world with their skills is the real responsibility of a teacher, as well as guiding the students in life.
When it comes to guiding, it is also related to disciplining students. Inside the classroom, the teacher is the controller and says to abide by rules, and nobody is allowed to misbehave in there, and if they dare to do so, the teacher has the authority to discipline them. It is also the responsibility to carry on as a teacher because students make mistakes, and sometimes punishing them is also a good thing for their future. Now a question arises: Is it okay for a teacher to discipline outside of school? Just imagine a student misbehaving with others, and the location is very far from the school or after school hours. In such a case, should the teacher discipline the student?
To be honest, considering all the situations I have seen, I just feel that there is no exact answer to it, and the age of a student also matters in that case. I think when it's about a little kid as a student, it's ok for a teacher to discipline that student, as kids are not so mature and sometimes they cross the line, and it's necessary to discipline them. But if the student is mature enough and if he does anything wrong or misbehaves outside of the school after school hours, what should a teacher do? I know that most of you will suggest that the teacher should discipline the student. I think it is okay for a teacher to have good intentions. I really appreciate it, but at the same time, teachers should be aware that outside of school, a student is also a normal citizen and has the same rights as the teacher.
At maximum, a teacher can give the student some suggestions and advice on how to behave, but in the case of discipline, I think the teacher doesn't have the right. The teacher is a respectable person, but as a teacher, he should know when to draw the boundary. Just assuming that I am misbehaving, and that means I must have a reason for it, and I think it's not logical for a teacher to interfere in my personal issues. As the teacher, he should not cross the boundary. Teacher and only discipline if the issues are related to the teachers or related to the school.

I agree with you dr. Once it is outside the school, advice would be better than inflicting physical punishment to avoid further issues.
