My Introduction Post To Hive

Introducing @iambril

Hi everyone! My name is Gabriel Kanu but u can call me 'bril'. I am happy to finally be part of this amazing community/social media platform. I am from Nigeria, Abia state precisely and I reside in River state, Nigeria not too far from my hometown. With much I can remeber I think I have lived most of my life in Rivers state than my state of origin save for my 7 years tertiary education (mecelenous years added ) amd some other random visits. I was born on 30th April and on a friday too. I am from a family of 7 with 5 siblings although I lost my mum in 2018. We are also a christian family.

EDUCATION

Truth is I can't remember where i did my nursery school education. Many school names come to mind if I think of it but my primary was started and completed in Faithful model school in Rivers state. My secondary education was started and completed in 3 different schools in the following order

1. PaceSetters Missionary College
2. Blessed Child International School
3. Gate of Wisdom Academy

The one i studied longer at was the last one and don't mind the big names o, like that no. 2, there's nothing international about that school but in honesty I'm grateful for my time there.

Then comes my tertiary education which I started and completed at Micheal Okpara University of Agriculture, Umuduke, (MOUAU) in Nigeria where I bagged B.Eng after 7 years ( I'd say less about the no. of years for now)

My Passion

I'm a semi introvert who wishes to not be seen as an introvert but still constantly craves for personal space (weird right?). Yeah, I'm someone who loves to interact with many. I appreciate interaction with sharp, thinking, determined and creative minds.

I also like to play football ⚽️ on the pitch for fun and exercise and love to play football game on a console or pc 🎮(I'd prefer e-football to Fifa anyday). I also love to watch basketball 🏀 as I'm currently getting to understand the game gradually. Every other game? I'm game

My affinity for music is just like the white that you can see in a perboiled rice. Music and I are inseparable. I also love little kids and to hang out with them.

Lastly i love to read, or listen to books, history or stories because things that i learn from those books, stories, and experiences are not always taught in class

How I Learnt About Hive

So my friend @kingworldline has been telling me about Hive since 2024. However, I've been occupied with school activities since the whole lot of last year but this year, I've decided to do more so I'm here. My friend has told me about the platform briefly and how I could monitize my blog with ease. He also said that I'm going to see great publications and posts to read and learn from. With that, I'm here to learn and add value. I want to thank my friend @@@kingworldline who has given me the morale and support to join this platform
