OUR FLAWED CHOICES

It’s normal for us as humans to want to seek after perfection. Why? Well, that’s because the one who has formed us is perfect, and he is the one that has breathed life into us. His plan for mankind was perfect too, but man chose to make the other choice God advised him not to make, and that’s how imperfection crept deeply into our DNAs. The world became imperfect, and that’s one reason why God even had to send his son to us to redeem us back to himself.

Even after sending his son to guide us back to perfection, God’s standards can’t be compromised. He despises sin, and he made it clear to us that there are consequences for our choices. We strive daily to become perfect, which is possible because God wants us to be, but it is not possible to have a perfect world without first having perfect people. As long as we live as humans, there will always be imperfection roaming in our world. We can’t take it away. We can only work on ourselves and strive to become perfect. But we can’t do that for others.

The world we live in was meant to be perfect, but due to our wrong choices, we have made it otherwise. But if there was any chance of us having a perfect world, I believe growth would be constant. It won’t be guessed or even wanted. It is just going to be automatically possible. Our children would grow up knowing what they need to do, how they should do it, and when to do it. As parents, we won’t be worried about putting in so much effort to train our children. All we will have to do is live our lives and be happy.

In a perfect world, everything would be in place, so there would be absolutely nothing to worry over. Life would be better and easier for everyone to navigate through. No one would be worried about what they need to eat, wear, or stay. We won’t even be complaining about so many problems we are facing now. We won’t be worried about falling ill because of anything because everything will be perfectly in place.

In as much as we want some of the challenges and troubles we face to go away—as we pray for a perfect life—the truth is that we can’t find that. Right now, all we can do is work to be better daily. Make sure we are growing and improving on ourselves as much as it’s possible. In the world we live in now, learning is non-negotiable, and that is because we don’t have a perfect world, so we always have to keep learning to know the right things to do. And the more we learn to apply these things, the closer we get to perfection.

Perfection is an illusion to us as humans until we add our creator (God) in the picture. Until we do that, we will always keep settling for doing what we want even when we are certain it’s not the right thing to do.

We all wish for a perfect world, but this is a reminder that our own choices can completely change the world we live in.

I agree that our bad choices made this world not perfect and now we're complaining about different problems of the World 🌍
