BRIDGING THE JUSTICE GAP

It will be a privilege to be part of those who help others get out of trouble. Joining a crime fighting vigilante won’t be a bad idea as long as I have the money. And that’s because it is almost impossible to effectively change things if you are not doing well financially or at least have a strong connection of people that do. We see how different countries keep clamoring for security due to the different crimes that are popping up almost daily.

So for this second edition of the hivelearners topics, we are asked to share our thoughts on THE VIGILANTE. Becoming someone of noble reputation in the society is always something that is good. Even if people don’t appreciate your effort and contribution, it is fine as long as your goals are achieved, which is keeping them safe from those who are constituting nuisance around them.

Working as a crime fighter vigilante won’t be completely easy and this is because there are already existing laws in place but being a crime fighting vigilante, it can be very tempting to want to take some laws into our hands especially when we give judgement to the crime that has been committed. But then, since I have enough money as a crime fighter, I’ll be able to make sure that even with following the already laid down laws, the criminals are well punished for their crimes.

These days, a lot of people commit crimes because they can easily walk out of it. There is no government trying to get to the root of the matter or even wanting to spend so much time in finding out what happened in the first place. There are so many injustices around us and the truth is, no matter how much we want to help, there will still be injustice but at least, for the fact that I’m part of the crime fighting vigilante and I have wealth, I’ll be able to make some impact in the lives of the people around me at least.

Like I already mentioned earlier, relying on the government to take action most times is a waste of time but one thing I can do is to make sure to abide by the laws even while I try to do the right thing by helping others. Becoming a criminal in a quest of fighting crime is not a wise thing to do at all. The only thing I hope for, is for me to always get to those that are truly helpless and have become victims of one crime or another. As long as I can see someone in need of justice, I’ll be able to fight that particular crime and hopefully with time, the government will want to do better.

I’m going to start the work rather than wait for the government to do better. They can do better when they see that it is actually possible to fight crimes and keep the people safer. But if I just stay somewhere hoping and praying for the change I want, it will probably never happen.
