Bringing The Old Good Days Back
We all have a wish, as that is one peculiarity of humans, and that is one thing that differentiates one person from another. There are times when we tend to short people on their legs for standing for what they believe in or even being different from another. Some days back, one of the persons on my contact list used this anonymous messaging tool to ask people to ask her any question.
She was asked who she wished to receive a message from, and she said her mom. This almost put tears in my eyes. She lost her mom so early in life, and her dad got married to another woman. As it stands now, she is not in any way finding things so easy.I have been in this situation before and am still in this situation. I lost my dad when I was less than 4 years old.
Growing up and seeing how others relate with their dads, I feel like calling him back to live. Will that even be possible? But for this last edition's topic, my wish is not going towards bringing my dad back to life because I know that he too won't even wish to return to this one-legged country because he is so enjoying his current location.It is my utmost desire that the time when people took responsibility for their actions, whether good or bad, should return again.
It makes my heart bleed to see adults who blame people for any little failure rather than taking the bullet. I know of a woman who never stops mentioning people who made her stay in a low state. Seriously, I don't associate with her. Presently she now has a child who blames people the way she does, and it is a serious matter for me because I am left to associate with this fellow on a daily basis. I am trying my best to change the orientation, but it is so difficult for me to do.
This is not only peculiar to these two I am in a relationship with, but it is what I see happening in my country today. The nation goes from bad to worse, and any incoming leader will promise how he will transform everything, and he does the direct opposite of what was promised, and when asked, he will push the blame to those who handed over to him.Seriously, no people will make any visible advancement trading in this lane.
Growing up, I saw my set taking responsibility for many things, and today they are in high places, but this Gen Z generation just wants to get everything on a platter of gold. No one values or celebrates process anymore; they want to get everything easily and so fast. This is why evil is all over the place. The worst of all is that, when they even make this money, they blow it off in a few days because they feel they will always get it.If wishes are like horses, even the blind will have many to themselves.
I just try to train my kids to take responsibility and also do their best to learn things they need to learn. I am also trying for them to find out what they love to do so as to push them to their niche, as this will help them climb faster than I did.My best wishes to everyone in this community and beyond as we go through this weekend.

Sometimes we want to go back to the beautiful past and fix all our mistakes in the past, but it is impossible for us to do that because we do not have the ability to bring back the dead.
