Reading of minds is a common story line in the movie industry but I'm not so sure happens in real life for obvious reasons, our heart and the mind of often act as a filter for some said words, and also is the safest place to lock a secret, goals or ambition you don't want known by a second person yet, there is also a popular saying about the heart of man is filled with evil to those that it may concern though because I'm exempting myself from that category, oh yes, I've got a pure mind filled with good intentions,
Reading through the current week's topic about getting to know that your partner could read your mind all along how would I react, for most part of it, I think I would be happy that at least I don't need to try hard to communicate every of my thoughts to him, as he would have already read them himself, and if there is one vital key of keeping a relationship going it is being open to each other and have healthy communication and one thing most men fail at doing is having that communication or understanding how you feel certain times, even when you communicate your feelings to them, they often till act non challant about it, so having a man that can read my mind helps make things easier in this aspect.
Although I won't neglect the fact of having a percentage of my thoughts private and no one prying into them not even my partner, so imagine I get to know he knew all along, as I stated they are not dirty secrets mostly personal fantasies and dreams, still, it won't warrant calling the relationship off, but I doubt I would want to go ahead to marry someone with this ability as it is bound to cause some misunderstanding especially after the initial butterflies in the stomach take a break.
Another disadvantage to consider with mind-reading abilities is that having a partner who have access to my deepest fears, insecurities, and doubts could make him manipulate or take advantage of me easily and this could lead to insincerity on his part, making the relationship seem like a game to him, and when I eventually realize this, it definitely can lead to tension or conflict in the relationship or what if they discover aspects of my personality or thoughts that they don't agree with or find unappealing, meaning they would always be in my head and try to control my every move.
In any relationship, communication, trust, and mutual respect for each other is important, so If my partner can read my mind, I would always be conscious of that thought and would want them assuring me that are using this knowledge for the betterment of our relationship, and not to manipulate or control me. Transparency and open communication must be an important part of our relationship.
Though the idea of having a partner who can read my mind is both fascinating and unsettling. While it might offer benefits in terms of communication and understanding, it can also become a problem when boundaries need to be set.

true. By the way, partners are to know basically everything about each other, so, i don't think there is any issue with dating someone that could read minds
The idea of someone reading my mind doesn't seem interesting to me, just uncomfortable. Trust and boundaries would be essential to keep the relationship healthy, but it's really hard, truly...
I agree with you, the boundaries won't be there anymore
Hahaha, for sure if the partner is an evil person, he/she will manipulate you somehow after knowing your weaknesses. That will be so, so unfair, it's better everyone has the gift so that no one will be cheated
